What does this Fuel Arrow Mean?

A lot of people go to the filling station to fill up the petrol tank at least twice or once a week but not everyone understands the tiny arrow next to the fuel gauge. That little arrow is pointing out which side of the car your petrol tank is on or located & by knowing it location it saves you time on having to reverse and turn your car around because you may have parked on the wrong side of the petrol pump ⛽.
