I’d personally get a i5 12600k just for instances of CPU intensive games. With your two options you said I’d go with the I5 but that’s just me. With both the 12600k and the one you listed you’re likely to not get bottlenecked by your cpu

Do you care raytracing it depends what games you will be playing me i have a 3060ti im just going to wait until I need to upgrade or if I can't run games well what I buy gamepass is helping not to buy games and just play those games first before actually buying or wait for benchmarks see if I can run it on my gpu im going to wait 2024
I take 4080 for 2k and it can't run cyberpunk native resolution in stable 60 fps(average 45-55)

It's running in 4k and both cards are not capable. In 1440p, the difference is big.

I don't know if you guys have observed something odd. The CPU with 3070ti consume less power , but the GPU consume more power versus 4070ti.And the CPU consume more power with 4070ti versus 3070ti.

It's because the 4070ti pushes more frames, and the more frames you push, the more work your CPU has to do.
Bro, its because cpu with rtx 3070 ti doenst need to be that powerfull giving the 3070 ti full potencial and with the 4070 ti the cpu needs to render more so it consumes more, now the power consumption being lower with the 4070 ti is that the 30 series is not that optimized

@@okami9039 the card’s fate is the current issue with the 6500 XT. As the years go on you’ll see the textures be affected. The 970 has this issue ,960 2GB where when the textures come in it’ll look odd or like crap. If you’re spending $700 on a card long term you’re kind of hurting yourself with a smaller memory bus. Even the 1070ti had a bigger one

@@9manny99 you dont understand how this works at all. 4070 ti can move lot more data through its 192 bit memory bus than 1070 ti through its 256 bit memory bus. 40 series has lot more efficient compression algorithm which allows lot more data to move through narrower memory bus.
Why did you test a 1440p card in 4k?
Cause most players dont use 4K.
Why are you mixing ram? And also how the hell are you only getting 30 fps on fortnite max settings, 1440p max I get roughly 178-185 and I'm bottlenecked by my cpu ffs.
Hell I'm even pushing 100fps max ray tracing.
try native 4k with nanite , lumen & rt
@@gametests why native? If you're running ray tracing never do native, especially in 4k, the whole selling point of the 40 series cards is that DLSS 3 is a beast and FG is a beast. Also again why are you mixing ram ? lol that's not good for a pc build.

@@tavanium if you have a 970 then it's def worth upgrading to literally anything else. But for me personally I'm just not able to stream on my 1070 anymore so I'm tryna figure out if I wanna upgrade to a 4070ti or a 3070 or 3080
I understand your point. But this is at the highest possible graphics settings and 4k. There will probably be a more noticeable difference at lower resolutions and graphics settings. Regardless of how you feel about the card, the 4070 ti and 3070 ti are not meant for 4k gaming.
22fps at 4K is a LOT. Reduce res down to 1440p and the gap between the two will be even bigger.
@@wolvAUS exactly what i was thinking, there can be gains of about 40% which is actually massive. But the 800-900$ is just way too steep why I decided to buy a good used 3080 for 500$
