Blender is a powerhouse 3-D software that everybody wants to learn. So we go to RUclips and search tutorials and have to watch a donut tutorial part after part, after part, which seems like it last 10 years. You pretty much made the same donut in 10 seconds in a 3-D space. Thank you sir!
You can drag and drop the objects in the layer stack to change the blend order. You can also use the copy tool in the lower menu then paste on other objects to share material properties. Great video.
The Blend function affects all the layers below it. If you move the donut layer above the Blend layers it will not be affected.

I am unable to creare new project. Did they take it away? All I see is "start designing" then it opens a random community file.
Click 'Start Designing'
Next in the top right corner by your profile picture click '+ create new design'
~ it's kind of redundant.
