LR is very young and is still understanding and learning eliteness on both sides of the ball. Give him more years to incorporate wisdom and by Saban's age, he will be one of the best!

USC was the highest scoring offense in 2023.
Their problem was the defense was ranked next to last.

The moves they’ve made since the end of the season are great it just would’ve been nice to see it happen a year earlier.
Caleb didn’t get to experience the playoffs which is a shame.

3 Heismans and a runner up in 7 years. He’s the greatest offensive mind in CFB. He needs to prove he can find a way to field a good defense, but no one has ever really denied that.

Riley is not overrated, he is young and he is learning the hard way but he is learning you can’t be a push over as a head coach. I bet he gets it now. FYI I’m a Sooner fan!

60 year Trojan fan here.. I disagree with only one thing; he's not a glorified OC, he's a glorified QB coach !!he's not even a good coordinator..some of his play calling is ridiculous..when your defense struggles, you try to keep your offense on the field, as much as possible..you do that by running the ball..he keeps passing and trying to score, when possession of the ball is most important at the end of games..otherwise, i couldn't agree more with what was said in this piece..SC should've done a better job at vetting this clown before giving a ton of money for a glorified QB coach..hopefully this new AD won't have too much patience..fans, alumni, and boosters won't, that's for sure !!

He’s a good coach, but he’s not a great coach. He benefits from star power but he doesn’t do the fundamental job of a coach, bring the best out of the guys on your roster and play to their strengths.

Riley is the Peter Principle gone berserk! He is a glorified OC and not a HC. USC, which is full of BS artists, got BSed by a bigger BSer. Any time a coach wears one of those visor type of hats you KNOW HE IS BSer and a LOSER! Fire the dude and move on before he becomes Clay Helton the II.
Delete this garbage! Trying to gain a channel off hating is nasty work. Riley made the playoffs 3 years in a row. In that time, James Franklin, Mario Cristobal (Oregon), Kyle Whittingham, failed to make it. By your same logic, Jim Harbaugh fits the same profile you had, if not worse. He was about to be fired in 2020.
Yeah back then harbaugh fitted my logic but now he doesn't. Also I do believe James Franklin and Mario Cristobal are overrated. Especially Mario that man isn't going to bring the U back. I don't consider whittingham overrated because he's at Utah and there is a cap u get to when your at a program like that. Also I'm not trying to build a channel off of hate.
