Have used the B-5 many times and find them really good. Quiet and good even sound.
I agree! I'm surprised this microphone is not very popular because it is really good for the price.
why not the rode video mic go ii instead of deity or even the video mic ntg?
btw d4 mini & b5 sounds ok
@@zogun videomic go II is twice the price of the deity and the ntg is 5 times the price of the deity 😊
If you have the budget then the videomic ntg is the better option.
@@JoeCastellon understood Joe. Have you compared B5 against any other SDC like NT5, Se7 etc?
@@zogun haven’t had the chance but I suspect there should be a clear advantage to those, mainly in terms of noise floor.
Hi, can you use 3.5mm input on Deity with wind muff? Thanks
Yes, the Deity D4 Mini connects via 3.5mm, it includes both TRS for cameras and TRRS for smartphones. The wind muff does not interfere.
@@JoeCastellon I mean second input on microphone for another microphone. Seems like port is underneath the muff.
@@JanSur oh right, sorry I didn't read "input". The wind muff ends almost exactly where the port is so you can use it with no problems as it doesn't really block the port. The mic will split the audio with the Deity on the left channel and the 3.5 input on the right channel.
@@JoeCastellon thank you?
