Nice! The 2011 MacBooks are kinda outdated though. You can probably get a good deal on 2016 MacBooks because that's when the year the model design changed and it looks better, and it should be cheaper if you don't wanna pay for the latest 2018/2019 MacBook Pros.

I wanted a Mac but I’m really into what I get in my computers and I wasn’t getting good specs for my money with a Mac so now I’m getting a Razer Blade 15. I also saved up and I think both computers are great so congrats! Can’t wait to get my new laptop 😭

julia k crist I definitely thing MacBooks are really good with durability, they seem to last a long time so you definitely made a good investment and macs are great it just didn’t meet my needs 😭😭 hopefully once I start making good money I’ll be able to have a really good MacBook.

The 2019s only really updated the entry level models. She got the upgrade model which hasn't changed since 2018. The one she purchased has better cooling, better speakers, and double the thunderbolt connections compared to the "new" 2019 model.

I thought of getting the MacBook Pro, but instead I got the MacBook Air since that was less expensive. And more easier to use. (For me of course) Edit: The MacBook Air is way better than the MacBook Pro, my friend bought a MacBook Pro and wasn’t as satisfied as she was after she used my MacBook Air. After finding out that other people agree with this theory, I suggest and recommend buying the MacBook Air Instead of the MacBook Pro.

Tbh, I prefer it without the touch bar. If you drop it the touch bar stops working. That's just my opinion.

My mom has this laptop and she lets me use it sometimes. Its amazing!!! It works so well, the touchbar is so cool, and just everything about it is amazing. If you're thinking of buying a laptop, this is the way to go!

Be careful with that MacBook, especially with the keyboards, thought it free to repair in the shop, it takes a week. It happened to me and a week without your laptop in the U, things start becoming more complicated.
Al NaJin that’s why you have to buy a keyboard protecter. If you’re gonna spend your money on an expensive computer you have to go the extra mile to get protection. Right now for mine I have a case and a keyboard.

Giovanna M. the only ones i think you keep buying are things like final cut pro and other editing software. but if you have no use for then then they aren’t essential and you don’t need to get them.

Just a little tip that I personally found really helpful: you can unlock your MacBook with your Apple Watch! Just look it up on the internet and Apple will give you a detailed instruction on how to set this up!😊
