The Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody is absolutely insane. No one in their right minds needs a car that has this much power - but hey, why not because this is absolutely fun! In fact, the Dodge Challenger Demon was even more powerful than this one making 840-hp. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody here is supposed to keep some of the Demon alive with 797-hp and to offer performance junkies something a little more insane than the regular Hellcat. Let's take a closer look at the 2020 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody

This is my favorite color that's offered on these cars. I have a boosted coyote mustang, but I'd love to get myself a redeye widebody challenger in this color, but sadly it's out of my budget

Thanks, nice Overview....Interestingly, we could,NOT afford the Hellcat/ Trackhawk,etc...: with relocating to Helena Valley, MT at late in life, etc. ODDLY, I,get some slight satisfactions out of my 2015 DODGE Journeys, FWD / Four Cylinder @ some 26 mpg still today......though now a model discontin; be even more interesting to,see how my pampered, Dodge does approaching 100,000 miles(73,000 now)..........

I love it, and my inner 12yo really loves it in spite of the sketchy outdated interior. However, as an adult I must give in to practicality, so I may just hold out for the upcoming 2021 Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody instead.

Everywhere I see most people complaining about the interior. It definitely isn't cutting nor even somewhere near high end, but it is a comfy ride with a large screen and simple clean layout so why isn't everyone's issue? I honestly feel it is satisfactory in a good way and not something to keep complaining about.
@@ssj02 The interior is “adequate” in that it has all the controls and features it needs to have. What it is NOT is aesthetically pleasing. It’s flat out ugly. It wouldn’t take much to significantly improve it either, just look at the new Durango’s dash for how they can easily make it look reasonably good.
@@asdf51501 I have to agree with you, but I tend to believe that it is a pleasing vehicle overall that justifies overlooking what it misses here and there.
This is the only challenger that I like, because its max speed in the speedometer is 220mph, and not 200mph like the others, this is the only challanger that is fast, together with Ford shelby mustang gt500, the old (2013) and the new (2018).

You accidentally misspoke. The rear diff is 3.09 not 3-9. This car also has the carbon and suede interior package. I think that's $1595.

Where else does it fail? SrtBree drives one an is undefeated in street races. The trackhawk is another monster
@@jessicatorres4439 hellies aren't known for being good handlers. They struggle to get the power to the ground badly. Even the Trackhawk, which is probably the best made hellie of them all so far, has taken it's fair share of Ls from other high powered SUVs. As they say, there's always someone faster.
@@jermainejpshepherd2778 where are you getting these statistics from? The top Dodge broadcasters have more Ws under their belts than Ls. And what SUV did the trackhawk lose to?
@@jessicatorres4439 RUclips is littered with Hellcats catching Ls in races. On street & at drag strips, which is the best place for them honestly cause of the prepped surfaces. Fords, Chevys, even on up to exotics like Lamborghinis & Porsches have smoked Hellies. Often times, models making less power than Hellcats too.

Great review. I think I would kill myself jn this trim, plus I can’t afford. I have my eyes on Scatpacks. It still is plenty fast and sound great. I really don’t think Dodge needs to change these, there is nothing else like it.

I finally got the specs on the rear end gears. They are a 3.91's which is a street and strip gears. Thank you Dodge Brothers.
Wrong they come stock with 2.62 gears, and option is 3.09 gears. I know, i own one with the 3.09 gears. Which costs $1,095 dollars as a option.
Crazy how it’s an option on these but it’s stock on the scatpack widebody.

@@omardrives - well I have the car without the devils paint on it, but it sure have a nice body color to it. Cops in the area, and out in the highway, are always looking out for me driving the possessed car because, I have to admit, I’m a heavy foot fool sometimes, but my mind reminds me about the cops, so therefore; I led off the gas pedal.

Man I’m sure you’re a good guy so that’s why I’m asking this. Why I’m the world would you do another video of a car that I promise you NOBODY but someone that owns one of these has any interest or even gives a second look at. These have gotten so boring that when people see this or the awful looking charger, you can literally. See people going to the restroom or to get a burger at the drag strip. I can appreciate you like this body style but most people say the same thing, they have seen these things until they make most of us sick. Please show something that’s not a fiat for a change bc you do a great job.
