I had 2 surgeries 6 days apart from each other. I had an IV and I used my playstation portable to look at pictures of my friends while they did the IV and it worked amazing.

Although I avoid surgery as much as I can I got to admit when I do need surgery although I might need a couple more in the future I do look forward to the IV and going to sleep it’s something in that anesthesia that just relaxes me so much that i can sleep but it’s not the sleep I feel when I’m under I just feel so rested and ready to take on the world after.

I had eye surgery on my left eye and when I had to go to sleep I was terrified and I asked if my mom could go with me and the sed no and it was very scary and I was so tired because I had to go to the hospital at 6am it sucked my eye was all red and it hurt really bad

The scary thing is we never know what’s gonna happen to us in a day tho, I just had surgery last month to get a Dialysis tube inserted. I have to start dialysis as a teen which sucks, I just learned one day I had stage 4 Kidney disease, I’ve never had one symptom 😭 I never imagined myself having surgery much less a kidney transplant.. it’s all insane

If they are still learning, then they are in college studying Medicine and that sort of thing. It takes a long time to get a degree in Medicine.... Lol
Well , I can only speak for Germany but here is it, that when they get their accreditation, they have to do further education for 6 years in a specific medical department. They are allowed to do procedures but they are always watched over by an Senior physician.
remember rule #1 of pediatric anesthesia, boys and girls: "an unconscious child is an obedient child..."
