Sharing another video on diy candles at home. This DIY colored bubble candle using old candles from home is easy! I made a previous video with these molds, but this time I wanted to try using dye chips to make colored ones. I've also included some packaging ideas for gifting or for an affordable way to start a small candle business!
I repurposed old cardboard packaging to make boxes for my candles. If you have a thermal printer, it's a great way to print labels in bulk on a budget. These make a perfect gift!
Amount of wax used for each mold:
Cloud mold 9 X 6.5cm: 86g
Bubble Cube mold: 137g
Knot mold 6.2 X 5cm: 76g
Shell mold 9.2 X 7cm: 134g
If you prefer to use mL, you can convert the weight above in this calculator:

I recently launched a candle brand on Amazon! I'll be releasing new scents slowly. Thank you so much for all your support!

❤️❤️❤️
hello I'm looking at you from France 😀 I would like to know at what temperature do you pour the wax for bubble candles? I have tried three times to make colored bubble candles and each time I have white marks on the sides, whereas the other molds never do that to me 🤨
I’ve reached France! Thank you so much for watching!❤️
For the wax I used (paraffin and a soy blend from an existing candle) I poured pretty hot. I think over 170F, but pouring temperature depends on the wax you use. I wonder if the white marks you’re getting is frosting. Are you using 100% soy wax? Frosting is a common property of natural waxes and can be more noticeable with colored candles, but I can totally understand your concern. Hmm but I wonder why it’s only happening to one candle and not the others. If you’ve followed all the directions for your wax, and it’s only happening with one candle, I’m not sure what it could be. Have you tried cleaning the bubble mold? Maybe there’s some residue inside of it? Also, try demolding sooner (after it’s solidified of course) vs waiting overnight. Hope that helps!
Kon sa wax use huaa hai mai paraffin wax kr k banai wo transparent jaisa dikhta hai or bubbles or dabbe v aa jate hai
I mixed Paraffin wax and soy wax! Thanks for watching :)
Candle 💗💗💗💗💗 I have bubble one 🥰 shell one is so cuteeee!! Where did you get the mold ? I like everything you made!
yay! thank youuu :) I actually bought the molds from Aliexpress, but I waited over a month. I found them all on amazon, so you can def get them overnight lol.
@@joolieshome I should buy right now from Ali lol
@@섀삐삐삐 LOL, you'll forget you ordered them and then a month later you'll have a nice surprise :) Always happens to me. If you are going to buy them, I purchased them from Shop910746126, but there's so many listings. I'm sure you'll find them :)
Thank you so much for the wax weight because that’s one thing I’m having a hard time with. If you don’t mind how do you weight wax for molds. I have body molds and I’m having a hard time with that. Thank you I’m advance 🤗
Thank you so much for watching! I found a website that shows you can actually fill the mold with water first and then take that number and multiply it by .86 to get the weight for wax. I haven't tried it out, but take a look at the site below. Hope this helps!

When can we put them if we are using them ( burning )
Thanks
I used a soy paraffin blend and the cure time is around 1-2 days. I started using M-100 wax and they recommend burning after 48 hours. It depends on the wax you're using, but there should be instructions on the package or website. Hope that helps :)
Hi can we change pillar wax with palm wax? Will it be a good result?
hmm, I haven't tried palm wax so I'm not sure. If it's a pillar wax it should be ok, but check the label before trying. Thank you so much for watching! :)
What type of colors u use?
Hi! I just use wax dye chips from Amazon :)
hi i'm planning to start selling candles, btw how to make scented candle, do you just add the scent on the wax and thats it?
I haven't tried making scented candles yet, but from what I see, yes, you just add the fragrance oil at the correct temperature :) and stir! so exciting, good luck with the launch 💗
@@joolieshome thank you
What size wicks did you use for the bubble candle?
I actually just used some leftover wicks I had from amazon for these candles. Here's the link: (amzn.to/3bOo70c). Hope that helps!
❤❤❤
Please tell baout wax tempratre when colour add and temprature also of wax when drop in mold
I don't remember exactly, but I think I poured around 60°C and added the colour around 80°C. I followed the instructions on the label. Thank you for watching!
I get whitish over my color bubble candle?
Based on my experience, frosting happens more often with coloured candles. I’ve read that heating the molds before pouring the wax could help. Also pouring at a lower temperature. I wish I could be more helpful, but tbh, I haven’t figured it out myself. Thank you for watching!
Hello! may i ask how do you know the amount of wax you'll need?
Hello! I previously made a video where I measured the wax for all the molds by trial and error. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/WnEVgybYmMI/видео.html
Thank you so much for watching!
My soy wax candle has so many cracks can u tell the reason and remedy
Thanks in advance
Hi! tbh I haven't experienced cracks yet, but I can try to help by looking it up online. Is this for mold candles? Candle science has a trouble shooting guide that looks pretty thorough but it's for container candles. I think you could find some information that overlaps with mold/pillar candles as well. I'll add the link below. I hope this helps!

where do u sell ur candles?✨
I'd love to sell my candles one day. I'll let you know if I post them on etsy in the future. Thank you for watching my video and supporting my channel! :)
Whats your printer for your label?
Here's the link (amzn.to/3MFxmli). I've used it for almost 3 years now and it's been good so far. I'll add it to my description as well. Thank you so much for watching!
@@joolieshome thank you ♥️
What kind wax for pink
I used wax from old container candles that I melted from a previous video. I believe it was a glade candle and an old soy wax candle mixed with a block of paraffin wax from Michaels. You can see my process in this video:
ruclips.net/video/WnEVgybYmMI/видео.html Thank you for watching 🤍
I want to ask if we melt wax directly so we will make candles because i saw many videos they are adding different acids and its really difficult to buy that acids if we order online so they send us after two weeks and etc so please make video on that we can make candles just with only wax because i am to much confused please 🥺❤and also tell us how to remove bubbles from candle i hope you wil accept my video request and make video on that topic please 🥺
Hi! I can definitely work on making another candle making video, but can you clarify which acids you are referring to? I agree, bubbles are definitely a challenge I face as well. I’ll do my best to address it in my next video. Thank you for watching ❤️
@@joolieshome yeah yeah sure mam I am talking about stearic acid and most of the people use that but its really confusing things so that's why I am saying please making video on that you will make candle only using candle wax if you have Instagram so please share that I share things with some candle pictures then you will understand my problem and thanks alot for your reply ☺️💖
How long do you need to wait for them to cool down?
I waited about 5-6 hours to demold them :)
Can I get molding
I've listed the molds in my description :) Thanks for watching!

cera de pliar ? alguien me explica la traduccion no es muy buena
I'm sorry! I wish I had better subtitles for you. I used a wax called paraffin wax, which is for making pillar candles. Usé cera de parafina en mi video.
