Thank you for the beautiful video. ❤ Can I use acrylic paint instead?

Hello, thank you for the incredible video. Is the water ok with the wax and the wick?

It is marbling paint, it also shows in the video 4:06
Thanks fr ur help .what did u use to pierce the wick in the candle and then how did u manage to pass the wick through
Good questions. I had this question when I just started to learn how to make candles. Q1: 1. use a small drill machine to drill a hole. 2. Use heat gun to heat up an iron long thin stick, the heat on the stick can melt a hole (showed in this video 3:40). Both methods take a lot of time, it is better to apply for candle wick in the candle mold then pour liquid wax. Q2: There are soft and hard candle wicks, hard candle wick is an option to pass through, If you don't have hard one, you can dip the soft candle wick into wax a few second, then take it out. After wax become solid, soft candle wick can become hard in this way. A very thin iron wire can also help, make it like needle, apply soft candle wick on the wire, when wire pass through, the wick pass through as well.
How long does the paint take to dry..Mine is still quite tacky after 2 weeks. Great video.
It takes one day to dry, maybe because of different marbling paint brand.
That second candle mold I can't figure it out because she isn't talking! I don't know what she mixing or anything. I hate when they don't talk.
You put the wick in last? In the moulded candles.
Yes, I apply the wick after I unmold bubble candle
@@ZXLDIY Genuis!
@@ZXLDIY One can do this with ALL moulded candles? Not only bubble? Probably would work, right?
@@StuckUpColouredzaza yes,of course. But it is not recommended, it takes time. I did it because sometimes the mould cannot make a hole in the bottom
@@ZXLDIY I was hoping to not make holes at all - in the actual mold that is.
To just pour and makes holes in the final product (with a small/thin drill). If it's going to be time consuming, best I don't go that route then 😢
What are these colors you add to the water? For marble bubble candle?
It is marbling paint, it also shows in the video 4:06
What is the best type of wick you use?
Depend on the type of candles. I made a video which introduced different type of candle wicks.
@@ZXLDIY great, was curious if there was a type of cotton wick brand for a cylindrical candle mold
Thank you for the Video. What kind of colour you use on the wooden stick in method 1? Is it candle colour melted in paraffin? Or is it liquid candle colour? Or is it something else?
I used liquid candle pigment to make marbled candle in the first method.
@@ZXLDIY Thank you, this method is very interesting.
Hallo beautiful candles. What is the temperature of the wax when you put the mold and put the marble paint in?
Thank you. The wax pouring temperature is about 85°C. The water in the pot is just normal cold water.
I tried to marble my candles and didn’t work . I poured the colors and they got stuck in the bamboo stick so you are doing something you’re not sharing and I don’t appreciate it
@@raqueldi3028 what marble paint are you using? Cause I made many of this candles and the way she shows it is the way it’s done
I did first with cold water and when I poured the paint in it just got like a film on top and got stuck in the stick
@@raqueldi3028 yes thats why I’m asking you. What brand are you using? I use Magic Marble - their are different marble paint some you can not use for this kind of painting
Hello, I’m from Colombia. I bought some molds the same as the ones you have, I don’t know what mistake I’m making but the candle doesn’t come out of the mold :/ please help me
You need to choose the right wax. Sometimes you have to use some strength to unmold it.
Hi what kind of paint did you use for the candle holders
I use jesmonite pigments for candle holders
Thank you
Hi. What is that clay like thing you used to seal the hole?
No,it is not clay, it is sort of sticky pad, I showed it in my pencil candle video.
What can I use to seal the paint?
you don't need to seal the paint, just let it dry.
What do you use for your candle holders ? what was the white powder ? :)
I used plaster+water to make candle holders
What brand marbling paint did you use ?
It shows in the video at 4:06min.
How many drops of each dye did you put in the water
I didn't count exactly. it depends on the size of a pot. The first layer dye should cover the whole pot, the other dye only need 2 or 3 drops over the first layer.
HI, what kind of wax did you use for pillar candles?
hello, paraffin+soy wax (1:1)
@@ZXLDIY thank you
What's the better soy wax for silicone molds?
I use soy wax : paraffin = 1:1 +vybar for silicone mold
ZXLDIY I'll try it thank you so much
Do you mean add a little soy wax and a little paraffin wax when making
@@ZXLDIY
Is magic marble burn safe?
It is safe to burn, but I am not sure if it is healthy.
Is it safe this kind of paint ?
I am not sure. I hope it is safe
Incrível 👍🏻 mas tenho uma dúvida sobre quais são os tipos de cores e quais são seus nomes?
Thank you for watching my video, But I don't understand your question.
@@ZXLDIY
