Actually my old Garrett ATX PI found a one ounce nugget at 78" the AZ back lands 🇺🇸. Using the mono coil. My weapon of choice.

The good old GPX 4500 or 5000 with a 15'' - 25'' Coil will give the GPZ a good run for the money! and with some properly done mods may surprise some!👌

Can this detector find a pound of gold 1.5ft deep inside a pint jar that is inside a capped pvc pipe? Thanks for any tips!

Depends on many factors including the shape of the Gold, the ground type above a the Gold target. More than likely yes but there are factors that may impede on this.

you need heavy rain for the soul purpose of erosion. you can have the 7000 or a gm1000. if it hasnt washed the dirt away. so you can swing over the nuggets.

@@TerraRangerGold ~Thank you for explaining but then as I understand it, a GPX 6000 “is” pulse induction but the GPX 7000 “is NOT” a pulse induction. >I wonder what type of electronic circuit the GPZ 7000 has then if it is “not” pulse induction.?<
~I live in Canada and I have owned the GT 16000, Musketeer Advantage, X-Terra 70, SD 2100, SD 2200, GP 3000, now I have the GPX 6000, so I am very curious as to know why the GPZ 7000 is “not” a pulse induction.?

This is taken from a website: Zero Voltage Transmission (ZVT) - ZVT has the same major advantage as PI for ground balancing in not detecting the major soil component X, but has the same advantage of CW metal detector technologies compared to PI for detecting very large nuggets because ZVT is CW (unlike PI that is not CW), and also the same advantage as PI for being relatively insensitive to saline soils compared to VLF.”

call me a mind reader but i had allready thaught you might notice my poor spelling. you should have said in your video that he detected a second nugget after he got the coil a further 900mm down the hole. egzample i found a nugget at 3metres deep but i forgot to tell you that i used a dozzer to push of 2.7 metres of top soil first before i detected it.@@TerraRangerGold
