An idea: since you mention price, how about a stock market. Players can put the missing items they need and if they sell stuff then they can declare how much stock of each item they sold. Players will gather every bimonthly Minecraft weeks.

yo so i been a builder since i started playing minecraft in 1st grade (in 11th now) and not once had i ever had a clue abt how to redstone, and ive always wanted to learn, and these are really helping bc i fuckin love the way you explain everything, it makes it easy to understand.
(also i love the jazz theme, personally my favorite jazz band is cherry poppin daddies, and jazz is my entire life)

This is insanely clever is so many ways. How you end up with enough free space to add in new ideas and not have to undo and redo sections in a different spot is beyond me
It would be cool if you could load and remove items onto an armor stand from hoppers. Then the machine could be more of a self contained display case that spits out a corresponding set of armor from the backstorage during the payment part, always keeping the display armor in the machine
