Mr.Fujita: I get asked recently, how many hours did I practice on regular bases? Then I was like, I really didn't think of it as a Time thing. I didn't even know it was Christmas, didn't even realize New Year was Over either, cos that was all I did, been playing with the guitar endlessly. Then the first time I went to the states, I was invited to a Christmas party, but totally flaked because I was playing with the guitar so much. So I was like, what ever, this is all I need. Guitar solo.... Mr.Fujita: was around 1990 or 1991 and Joe Pass was getting really old, a friend of mine Neal Itzler said, yo we gotta go to Joe's Live performance! After the show I asked Joe Pass if he could give me a lesson or two, but he said "No" but I kept asking him, but at the 4th try he said call me at the hotel, The I called him up. And asked him what would it cost to have a lesson? Joe Said, if you can get me some those amazing cigars from Boston, I'll think about it. I got the cigars and I got a 3 hour lesson from him, it totally changed me life. He told me to Have control of my own choices, like if your moving in 1 direction, always have other options at anytime, Like when you play blues guitar you usually use around here (points at guitar neck) like everyone would memorize all the basics, but it's always better to know the entire neck so you can play with a lower or higher taste of the same sound. And your choices will be broadened. That to me became something very important. Understand the simple form of the sound, but also able to give it a complex presentation with my choices. Guitar to me is like you play or you die. That's why it's interesting. I also think that the guitar and music changes people, make people more kinder and more influcial to others. Every one should be filtered through a guitar so everyone becomes kinder and nicer to everyone. It's that the best thing that can ever happen to this world? Guitar solo... Fender..
Didn't understand a single word, but watched whole video for the Tomo's riffs in the background. I kinda feel like playing "sunny" now.

Awesome!

It feels like his personality changed a bit after switching to Japanese. Like this is his real self.
