    Great Video Steve. Looks like you've been diving it for a long time. We just need to keep passing on this level of sidemount skill. ;)

    Slow and Smooth. Almost Zen focus

      Thanks... exactly. Most people think that cave diving is an adrenaline sport... in fact, it's the opposite. Zen is a great description of what we are trying to feel :).

    Steve I’m lost with the LPI hose on the butt dump on the wing? I haven’t seen that setup before.

    • @sidemountpros
      @sidemountpros  Год назад +1

      Yes Caleb, this is a custom mod that Edd came up with and his team did for my harness. It incorporates a shoulder dump to the left inflator connection and the Inflator from the bottom. I'm not using that one anymore but it was a cool mod.

      @@sidemountpros ok it looked different than what I’d pictured from the podcast.

    Hey Steve, could you do a video that shows the modifications to the xdeep harness and how you prepare your setup. Thinking of crossing over to the Sidewinder, and I already own a xdeep tec. Thanks!

      Look out for it in the future... need to get a few more dives on it yet to settle on my setup.

    Did a bit of modifications on your XDeep BC there, yeah? Can you please explain what you did? What mods? Or show them? I'm interested because I'm considering doing the same, but don't know what or how yet. Thank you.

    Was this your first ccr cert? if yes, did you start in a cave for your first time?

    • @sidemountpros
      @sidemountpros  3 года назад +1

      Yes first this was my first CCR but I was already Full Cave/Adv Cave trained. We also did Cave DPV prior to this course OC so Edd had a chance to check me out beforehand.

    I will never do that navigating would be too hard how you turn around what could be in those caves a big spark waiting to bite you

    • @dsgreat3
      @dsgreat3 3 года назад

      Navigation is easy that’s why we lay line and place markers on the line junctions. Most caves are freshwater there are no sharks.
