I wanted your opinion about moral values and ethics without religion and god.. Because religion people say there no moral values and ethics without god, how do you know robbing and murdering a person is bad?
abstaining from murder isn't just done because God said it's wrong and you don't want to disobey him. It's much more likely that one abstains from murder because it causes harm to another being and stops them from existing, even though that person might have had more years to live and experience this world. Morality doesn't come to you through commandments from above, it comes to you through empathy for your fellow human beings, and empathy is one of our strong traits.

Or 2) When you pushed, you force travelled to an alien planet and they sent instant message across the galaxy and controlled the ball to move in that direction. Both explanations give same conclusion, but the first one explains with fewer assumptions than the second one. So we prefer the first one. It doesn't mean, only the simplest explanation is true, but the simplest explanation "THAT ALSO SATISFIES ALL THE EVIDENCE" + doesn't have any unnecessary details which has nothing to do with the event is more preferable.
