IIRC each state has different criteria for what they consider a lake. Some, "lakes" in other states might be considered a pond in Minnesota.

Okay well, how about this. It’s not fully in Minnesota, nor is it in Michigan, or Wisconsin or is it in Ontario. So you can’t claim that it’s in your state
