Spotlighting Minority Housing Developers: Tangi Community Development Corporation

For over 50 years, the Housing Assistance Council (HAC) has supported minority-led housing developers as they work to solve their communities’ greatest housing challenges. At the 2023 National Rural Housing Conference, we sat down with six of our local partners to learn more about how our lending and capacity building has impacted their work.
Tangi Community Development Corporation is a minority-led community housing development organization, which offers affordable rental options for families to help them transition from renting to owning their homes. The organization serves families in Tangipahoa, St. Helena, Livingston, and St. Tammany parishes.
