I own a 2007 freightliner Columbia since 2012 , that I restored 😂 and still making money with it. But seeing this makes me want a new truck. Until I see the price tag, the check engine light possibilities.
Beautiful truck and that legendary colors are some fantastic colors and yes a strip between the colors would've been nice. Like the red stitching as well.
Yes absolutely beautiful So what Everything's is plastic aluminium and computer Many things can happen THIS TRUCKS ARE PAINTING NICE Thanks for posting this video God bless You all
We call them weed burner exhaust cause if you park in the grass you will roast anything under the truck, I can't understand how they are even legal. Not to mention the smell of exhaust in the cabs at times when you have a slight soft breeze blowing it back under your bunk. They will do anything these days to keep build cost down so they can charge even more for less of a truck. Welcome to the new disposable world.
For me, I would prefer to have wrap-around curtains over the windshield instead of the sleeper curtain. Nice truck all around, bet my drivers would have loved this truck
Beautiful color combination. One question, didnt see a spot for a microwave? If I missed it please let me know. Are having good luck with the 605 , 18sp , with 3:34 ,?
The microwave will fit. The Cummins X15 in both the 565/2050 and 605/2050 are both doing really well. We have been very pleased with the X15 reliability and performance.
I wonder if Peterbilt could make the steering wheel function arrangements as far as the radio controls and the cruise controls button Arrangements Beyond the opposite sides like how it is on the Chevy Impala as I steer primarily with my left hand and any kind of Shifting I do I do that with my right hand and I also stabilize myself with my right arm on the arm rest and I would love to be able to use my left hand the way I have been in my Impala to operates the cruise control and such and seldomly have I used my right hand to operates the radio controls along with me changing the station or to adjust the volume and what have you. It's pretty much the way how I programmed my hands when I'm driving.
@@RockyMountainPeterbilts Hello again. I'm a truck driver from a small village of Iran. I'm crazy about trucks and tractor trailers. I watch and follow gorgeous videos about trucks on RUclips especially your videos. Please make more videos 🙏🌹🍷
Excellent & rare combo. 579 with X15 (605/2050) and manual Eaton 18 I don't get why Peterbilt does not utilize their signature two floor pedals (accelerator & break) pedals, like on the 389. All 3 pedals on 579 are different.
Rocky Mountain Peterbilt's just re-read the answer. I know there’s no problem with the cooling system. It’s my understanding the similar model kenworth runs out of cooling around 115k gross due to the aero grill opening. It’s physically not big enough. Was wondering if this was similar?? I should of been more specific, sorry.
@@johngrabowski2957 I have not heard that. All of my Heavy Haul trucks have been 389's or 567's. I have never built a 579 designed to go over 115,000 GVWR. So that is a good question. Are you talking about the T660?
Rocky Mountain Peterbilt's yes sir. And I may be off on the gross, it might of been 150?? I’d have to recheck my notes. My understanding is you start running big power, big torque, plus weight and the snowball starts growing pretty quick. I guess it’s further complicated by the air intake system being a single comparatively small filter versus twin external breathers. All easily remedied with the 389 but I’m getting old-- and soft. And I like the creature comforts, and lower curb weight of the aero’s.
Can the gauge screen stay on as you are driving? Or can you flip through the 3 screens to look at gauges as you are driving? Obviously it would be pointless if the gauge screen wouldn't stay on when the truck is being driven. But you never know these days with truck becoming more and more electeic.
The lack of gauges is the biggest turn off about this truck besides the aerodynamic design which I hate the most! But it's nice for its class of trucks especially the specs including the 18 gears lol
You missed the EPIQ package. Full Aero + Full Power X15. SAAAAWEEEEET. 🤯 Im also wondering if they still offer the extended hood for the 579 and Low low air leaf with DSH40 rears
The EPIQ package has specific fuel saving features (motor/trans/aero stuff). I blasted way past that. This is the larger hood 579 (123" BBC). I can get Low Low Air Leaf and the DSH40's as well.
Sweet. Thanks for the info. Just thought about the wheel well cover would make it look slammed on the ground. Just looking for a high power spec powertrain and keep the tare weight around the low 18k. LBS. Is there a significant price difference if that truck would go to a 50ish" sleeper without the aero top. Keeping the budget at 150K
No, sorry. However, I can get one for you just like it in your choice of colors in 6-8 weeks. email me at couchk@rushenterprises.com if you would like to discuss specs and pricing. Thank you!
I remember when they came out with the 387 years back with the unitcab design. It was the biggest POS paccar ever designed. This looks similar hopefully they learned from that mess...from a retired pete tech
beautiful truck, wish i was still driving. :( still seems with the new Kenworth and this truck is looking like a Volvo design. maybe its the aerodynamic requirement. sorry, i just like the older trucks.
Well, what's the catch - the outside of the cabin is huge like a barn, and inside there is not even a place for a microwave........And the color - just fire

The M on the dust cover over the ecm plug on the driver side of the motor was put there by me!! I top wire for Peterbilt in Denton!
So much metal flake looks like a ski boat from the 1970s
Love the fact it’s still a manual 18 you don’t see lots of them coming manual anymore
Beautiful truck and that legendary colors are some fantastic colors and yes a strip between the colors would've been nice. Like the red stitching as well.
Cool looking paint job.
If I was 45 years younger I would do it over again in a heartbeat!! C to C with a load of Cali produce in a flash!!!
Love the truck love the couler " but take of that hood mirrors they kill it .
Вот вы американцы молодцы.посмотреть приятно какие машины!
All eyes on me..in my beautiful PETE rolling down the highways
Odkdjakadndjso
The first time I've seen a 579 with all the bells an whistles...
Very nice truck, best option was the 18 speed manual transmission
Yes absolutely beautiful So what Everything's is plastic aluminium and computer Many things can happen THIS TRUCKS ARE PAINTING NICE Thanks for posting this video God bless You all
An engine light is the last thing someone wants to see in the advertisement video lol
I thought the same thing but it wasnt on after it probably has an extended light for some reason
Joe Grau lol oh ok got u
Be great if a individual could special order one with 5 and 4 trans
Peterbilt has a stack. I love that. So many new trucks has this downspout thing I hate that.

Just beatyfull!!🇺🇸🇧🇷 breath taking.
Now that's a truck.I didn't know that you could still get a truck like this. I will be watching. Thx.
3:13 inside the 🚛
They build em in Denton Texas which is in Dallas metropolitan area
The last Pete I drove was a mid 60's conventional with 4x4 transmission....
With Cummins at 605hp and that legendery red it rocks like a Ferrari! The only dissonance are these- old fashion -front mirrors.
Orange pinstriping between colors 😍
Hope there kind of truck culture comes to India

I wish they would fix those touch screens on the stereo... they suck!!! I have 2020 Ultraloft, it is my biggest complaint...
What a sexy color combo!!! It would be hard to keep clean, but when it is you'd know it👍👍👍
The only thing I like about this truck is the torque and the color
I wanna get my truck painted this color !
Nice truck, but I would rather have the high top sleeper with the second bunk.
I would love to have seen it with DUAL stacks!😃👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾👍🏾❤💯
As you have said yourself. It's absolutely gorgeous truck 🙏🌹
We agree!

Beautiful truck someday I want to use this big truck
I want to drive it
It's so beautiful, hope could be my next truck in couple years.
Sh tube will make you some bling
You should get a wide angle lense to show inside.
Love them Pete truck nice engine real work horse
Man, I like that!!! Any problems with cooling running heavy with that?? 110 ish gross... what’s the weight with the big sleeper?? Thanks.
No issues with cooling. We have sold plenty of these and never a complaint. Truck Weight is 19,077lbs.
Appreciate the reply. It’s a beautiful truck.

Pretty bad ass, except for the hood mirrors!
They look they installed em backwards.

Eu curto muito os caminhões americanos, especialmente os Piterbiltt. E esse vermelho está lindo !
Eu adoro os caminhões dos EUA desde 1985. Esse Peterblit é lindo, bonito e confortável
I'll take that set up in 389 model please. that is really beautiful color.

Red Irish Rose

Love the metallic paint.
WOW!!! 605 hp!!
Medium mattress!?
That looks like a single!
IT 39x84 Inches wide
These Pete’s need big air compressors because they’ll leave you sitting on the ground after a few hours of being shut off.
Batteries would be a better choice then : (
Very Beautiful & Nice truck....♥♥♥♥
♥🌷🌷🌷
His prize plze.
I'm afraid of one thing is that, what if the vehicle breakdown during journey.
I love that color!
All dark gray would be really nice.
Beautiful truck, where are they built ?
Denton, TX.
Steering wheel is just like DAF holand trucks...is this a Paccar company truck too?
DAF is the European brand for PACCAR.
How much is it?
And Disc break or dum break?
email me direct for the price couchk@rushenterprises.com. Disc brakes all around on this one.
Between $160 & $180k

Looks almost identical to a Kenworth inside and out.
Correct. Both companies are owned by PACCAR and the T660, T680, T880, 579, 567 all share the same cab. They call it the 2.1 meter cab.
Rocky Mountain Peterbilt's, thanks for that. Don’t see any Peterbuilt trucks here in Australia but there’s a lot of Kenworths - especially the K200.
What an awesome piece of brand-new technology. I wonder how much more than the Volvo 860 vnl is priced at. Thank you for sharing this beauty.
Pricing will be similar up front on most all brands. The difference is the re-sale value at 500,000 miles or more.
Love this truck 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Marvin Rush has soooo many dealership.rethought should have said Rush Enterprises.
I sure miss the Cats.
Kieth does it comes with 280" wheel base ?

Earn it why you can the shippers are looking to cut out the middle man. Their chomping at the bit for autonomous driverless trucks
Benefits over Volvo competitor?
Love it. I bet it's been sold. One question...how much does it weigh?
