This video is very inspiring to me. I was 16 years old, very similar to Blake's situation in the past. Maybe in the future I will be the same as Blake. btw: Best podcast I have ever listen, simple word, straight forward not talking bs around

Going to preface this with, I really enjoyed the interviewer and the atmosphere. Very well done. As an actual startup developer his claims are hilarious. He obviously had a lot of help that he didn't mention, and lied about marketing costs. 100$ of marketing for 80k monthly revenue is just a lie. While his ideas are very good, I don't understand why he has to lie so much about his marketing costs and technical skill. My money is on the fact that he forked out a lot of equity to people that actually had skills, and now his last hope is to get rich quick being an influencer himself. Yikes. Additionally, you don't just 100% GPT a whole app. How are users created? How are subscription vs non-subscription users authenticated? How are errors handled when it comes to user authentication? Where / how do you manage your server? This part especially had my bullshit-meter on the tops. If anyone wants to convince me otherwise I am open to a productive conversation.
Hey brother, I understand why you would question some of my story - I agree that it would appear highly unlikely that I am telling the truth, but I can assure you that I am. The two $50 promos -> 80k mrr is 100% fact, I'd link the videos but not worth my time to find them. Anyways, if people continue to question this, I'll make them public somewhere in the future. My cofounders and I bootstrapped the first app. I was the largest shareholder. Both of them are nontechnical - I built the whole thing. "Last hope is to get rich quick being an influencer" - my apps have generated over $2m total profit to date. RizzGPT (Plug AI now) - No user table or auth, backend was a simple python script hosted by Heroku, subscription auth handled by superwall. Umax - first version also had no auth, but then after we hit 100k mrr I hired a CTO who rebuilt in React Native. I had some help on the backend this time around from a friend + my brother but I did the majority of backend and all of frontend. Cal AI - I did not build. This one was actually built well from the start. I think you could have phrased this criticism better. You stated your claims as fact, but they are false. Speak to anybody that has met me and they will tell you that I am certainly not a grifter or scammer.
@@Blake-kw3dw I would love to see the videos that got you these insane results. and you mentioned that one of your apps is built with React Native. We would really appreciate it if you let us know what other technologies are used in the backend and front end, or if you think that does not matter.
@@Blake-kw3dw Look it’s obvious what you’re doing. He’s not saying anything incorrectly. He’s not calling you a grifter. He’s not calling you a scammer. for those of us who code it’s super obvious to sniff out non technical kids. Youre clearly a nontechnical mind. You went to Tulane partying it up. You speak like a California skateboarder. Like it’s obvious you’re selling a story here kid. You referenced your family’s situation at least 300 times in the first 10 minutes. Either that or because you know it’s a way way way better story for you to lie and say you’re a self taught engineer. No way you get into HF0 without that part of the story. My advice to you is to avoid podcasts like these or at least speak with actual technical people you trust to be able to lie better or sorry - “embellish” better. Keep up the great work kid. Back to the drawing board for your story big fella. Talk to real technical people. Dont slip up like this again. Can’t hate on a kid making moeny tho - congrats. Make a release ASAP. Think Oracle 1.0, just get it our there. Just demonstrate couple of neat ideas. You need revenue, a team and funding ASAP. If you do it alone, you'll be stuck forever, and your goals will change forever, and you'll get nothing tangible released, and you'll feel like you wasted all that time. Been there.
I learned so much, new subscriber and follower of all social media for both of you 😁😁. Ill be thinking of how to give you guys value through software 🤔
Absolutely amazing podcast. I’ve been trying to get In touch with Blake, about a couple apps… If there’s anyway you can send him my info I would appreciate that so much!
@Blake-kw3dw obviously you're a broke, jealous hater who's going to learn nothing from this because you're so caught up in your ego. Amazing how your mindset is so limited that you can't understand how someone making 8-figures a year could afford a summer home in Tahoe lol
