*After years of hauling around a large,💫 **allabout.wiki/PORTER** heavy, loud dewalt air compressor (that ironically was advertised as quiet, supposedly 78dB), I bought this. Facepalm. While it is not ‘silent’, I find myself chuckling every time I use it, sparing all my neighbors the terror of my former compressor. I use for inflating tires, impact wrench, finish nailers. Absolutely love it. And I store it under the garage sink in a 24” cabinet. I paired with a coil 1/2”, instead of a my former 50’ 5/8” hose that I had to lug across the yard from the shed, unpleasantly uncoil.... this little guy is light and portable; just a joy. Impact wrench is still capable of easing lug bolts, flywheel bolts, crank pulleys... just allow for a tiny bit of recovery now and then.*
My story exactly. People see wheelbarrow compressor and instantly think "framer", but honestly the thing works for many different jobs. Totally love it's power and portability--personally I love the sound of the Honda engine as well.
i have a problem with my rolair compressor, it doesn't wanna start when the weather is cold , i change the motor oil , the spur plug and still doesn't start

One of the most common mistakes we hear is that people try to start the compressor with the pilot valve toggle in the 'up' position. It should always be left down or in the horizontal position. If you're doing everything according to the steps in the video but are still having issues, give our service department a call and one of the guys can help you troubleshoot the problem. There are a lot of things that can cause trouble at start-up, including a gummed up carburetor, clogged intake filter, the list goes on. You can either call (920) 349-3281 and ask for service or email service@rolair.com.

I have a gasoline engine air compressor ... 10 gallons ... ... but it has a problem ... it starts well and loads very well ... but the engine does not stop working and The pilot valve does not discharge air. When I load the maximum, the emergency valve is activated ... and I would like to know if you would tell me where the problem is ... I forgot that the pilot valve has already changed and remains the same. ..thanks
Hey Tino! The pilot valve might not be adjusted properly and allowing the compressor to build pressure until the safety valve pops. When you get a chance, please email me at davidd@rolair.com and we can talk about it.

There is no need to lift the toggle. In fact, doing so can cause the engine to start in idle mode.
