- My Fanmio Chat with the legendary Tim Curry! I was super excited to talk to Tim. He is my favorite actor and I asked him a few questions during our chat.
FYI I was extremely nervous to meet Tim so I guess this may not be the best meet and greet, but anyway, here you go!
I don’t understand some of you in the comment section insulting this man for not being like he was in his 20s, 30s, and 40s. I’m pretty sure you guys are not going to be as bright and energetic at 74 after experiencing a stroke that partially paralyzed you, either. Tim Curry is elderly. Give him a break.
The fact he still some what there and have a sense of humor is a miracle. He could of just stay out of the public but the man still is intrested in being in stuff

This man has brought a lot of happiness into our lives. Its heartbreaking to see him like this 😔
Don't be "heartbroken" - Tim wouldn't want you to be. He wants to engage with people and his fans and he has improved considerably from how he was at first after a stroke. His speech is slower and his face (body language) is not what it used to be, but he is still the Tim Curry inside.
@J P3 let me process this how I feel fit. I dont mean to make him feel any type of way. It just makes me feel sad to see him struggle like that. I legit cried when I saw that
And I didn't know he had a stroke a few years ago.

I’m thrilled Tim has been able to regain some of his life back. I remember when he was speaking in barely a whisper. He’s now giving full interviews. Keep fighting, Tim!
He is amazingly res. He is a great person and actor si ger. Even a Gardner.
It’s so great that he’s still involved with his fans. It’s hard to see that the devilish, dramatic energy he once had, seems to be gone. But every day that he’s alive and healthy is a blessing! What a great man!

The energy is still there, but he is unable to express it due to the extensive brain damage. 😑 He knows how to walk and talk quickly and all those things but too many pathways were damaged for ease. 😪
I’m so glad Tim Curry survived what he’s been through 🥺 the world isn’t ready to lose him
When he dies I'll die too 😭
It’s been over ten years since the stroke. He’s regained what he can, and at least he has his voice back. He looks great.
I had a chat date with him too and the whole thing was just too much. When he actually appeared infront of me, I almost peed my pants. 😁

He is still the same person just older, wiser and distinguished as ever. He had a stroke and is lucky to be alive, any of us can get ill or in an accident and it can change our life dramatically but we adapt and move on.
Wow. He talks one on one with his fans. What a down to earth guy. Funny since his characters are often larger than life.

I didn’t watch the full thing but honestly the man’s had a stroke, and that creates challenges. Perhaps that’s the reason he is a “tough audience”. I’ve cared for people who have had various strokes. They can have lasting complications. His speech is much better though since the last interview I heard him do!

Honestly just seeing him, regardless of his condition, is enough to make anyone's day the brightest. He is an awesome actor and always will be.

The guy's a fighter, he's got a lot of guts continuing to pursue a public career, I'll bet anything he's got a very dry humor and is a joy to be around.
I love him so much it just breaks my heart to see him struggle so much but he's gotten a lot better and I'm so proud of him!!
He’s fabulous. Not a soul on earth has come anywhere near Frankenfurter as played by this man. And other roles too. He has a cheek, and undefinable difference.
My god,Tim Curry. What a legend,it really makes me sad he's never gonna act again,probably. But he is and will always be one of my favorite actors of all time.
He is the reason I am an artist, I love him so much.
While this breaks my heart, it does bring me hope to see him speaking after having a stroke. God Save Tim Curry!

Considering that on a scale of 1-10, his stroke was about a 9.5, he looks and sounds pretty good. Glad to see.

So much of my life has been brightened and made better by the fantastic Mr Curry . I saw Rocky Horror the first in Rhodesia it had been banned but someone had connections and it became my favorite musical . I've seen it on stage in 6 countries, 9 cities and can no longer remember how many times at movies. Whatever his body of work, critical acclaim or state of health,to me, he will always be the very erotic and exoticDr Frankenfurter. ThanQ for uploading this and your gentle way during the interview. Very much appreciated by one of his biggest fans
This beautiful, sweet man is a national treasure and should be protected always. He is a direct link to my childhood and I respect him so much. I would love to meet him someday and you are so lucky to meet him and talk to him ^_^

@@bettyconfettii 1980 so 40 years. He was beautiful and had terrific posture when he walked. He was at a record store promoting his new album Fearless. Hardly anybody showed up. I got to ask a lot of questions. He hated signing any frank n furter pics back then. He was embarrassed by it. Ppl thinking he was gay or a freak. Hes good with all that now. I told him he was a great actor and he turned red blushing.
@@hunterking4045 I wish I were alive to witness how cute he was. Just looking at his photograph from the 70's shows he was a real cutie. I cannot believe no one showed up to get an autograph! I would have been first inline for that lol. I have heard that on numerous occasions that he did not like to sign things from the RHPS. I guess he had a change of heart now.

I grew up with Tim Curry and I've never seen a bad movie with him in it. Charming, funny and a great singing voice. Men like him are a rare breed these days

Tim has never really been on my radar, but I have to say, he's an awesome fella for doing this for his fans.

I for one enjoyed it. If you ever get a chance, look up PETER PAN AND THE PIRATES. A 65 episode animated series that aired on FOX TV from 1990 to 1991. Mr. Curry appeared in 45 episodes and won an Emmy Award for his portrayal as Captain James Hook! Outstanding performances with varying degrees of animation from different production companies. Especially interesting is the 2 part series finale AGES OF PAN. Enjoy...😊🇵🇷🇺🇸📽🦂🗽😎

Thank you for that. This man is a legend. Thank God that he is alive and still here. Heaven forbid something happens to anyone and they become disabled. Disabled people are human and valuable people too. You can be born disabled. You did a wonderful job interviewing him and was sincere and sensitive to his needs. Thank you for this interview.

No one could have portrayed Darkness in Legend like he did and no one could have delivered the lines he did in the movie Clue as quickly as he did and still be completely understandable and in character. The sexiest and most charismatic Dr. Frank Furter the world will ever see. I am most pleased to see him recovering from his stroke. Keep fighting Tim.

Tim curry will live forever! I grew up on the movie rocky horror and every October me and my kids sit and watch the rocky horror picture show and we use all the props to make it that much more fun and i trust my kids will pass on that same experience if not better with their kids.

What an absolute legend this man is, from being in some of my favourite childhood movies to giving me nightmares as a 20 something year old when I first saw IT. It's fantastic to see this man fighting back from what he has been through and it's brilliant to see that such a great community still has so much respect for this man, he will always be one of my all time favourites 😁

I adore this man. He has done so many amazing roles. He has brought so much joy to so many and he still is now. Thank God that he is still here and able to be the bright light that he is to so many. We all change as we get older. Getting older is not easy but it is a blessing.

Thank you for uploading this I know it was 4 years ago, but it's so nice seeing Tim remaining active. Even now that he's 78 he's still getting out and communicating with people including fans.

Tim is a Legend. . A fantastic actor, singer and voice actor. He is so sweet and doing well much better than years ago . People should be more understanding .. He was doing his best! God Bless Him .
