    Syifa, so very impressed with your English skills! You obviously have a knack for languages and story telling!! You should most certainly continue making videos! It is going to get real tough the next couple of years with the way economies around the world go, but take heart from the fact that people with skills such as yours will always strike work no matter the circumstances! So more power to you!!! ❤

    Syifa thank you for your amazing response to my question, which was about 1 minute.
    Your experience is priceless, and I agree with everything you said. We should be humble and open minded towards differences between people. God bless you.

      Syifa Adriana We are all human beings. Because biggoted tribalists/racists/cultural supremacists do not like it, it is not our problem, nor it changes facts. Ramadhan Karim to you! Respect to all indonesian people, I have had a great experience with all indonesians I spoke to
      I needed your experience because I have been thinking myself of the possibility of moving to China perhaps in a future.
      I am fine praise be to God/alhamdulillah.
      Are you javanese?
      May God pour more blessings on you!

      You should try living in China at least for a year. It would be interesting to see how you feel about it and what sort of experience you have..

      Syifa Adriana Thank you so much for your suggestion sister.
      If I move to China, I may even move for a long term period. I am a medical doctor, and I have noticed China has a boosting market for doctors, not just the private clinics, but also the state itself. Do you have any information about this field or the market, since you live one year and half there?
      May God bless you!

    Luckily, the uncertainties in your near future plan is because you're flexible/indecisive with many options.

    Finally some realistic information, most RUclips videos are endless commercials how "everything is Paradise" etc., while I know that is not the truth. I have traveled to over 40 different countries and lived in many too, most of the RUclips vlogs are just there to create income and entertainment.

    Those people passing by were stopping out of curiousity and checking on what u were doing...thats funny, lol
    And btw about the “public punishmen”, i also have experienced with my own eyes while in the hotel in nanjing. The local tour guide made a mistake because she took the hotel keys from the receptionists and directly gave it to us as the event participants without communicating it first with the leader of the event organizer. The leader was very angry and shouted out at her in front of us. That sounds very rude and ashaming but they just dont really care about time and place.

    China is so big. YinChuan is so small and locates in nowhere. There are many wise employers in Beijing, ShangHai, GuangZhou. There are many more opportunities for you here in China. You are welcomed back to China again. Your English is much better than your friends. I think I can understand you 90%, and less than 50% of your friends. I am an old engineer by career.

      Syifa Adriana - it's not for you to decide how the school is run (obviously you can leave) . You were paid to execute objectives as a teacher. That teacher was dismissed from the institution/school in a way similar to disciplinary actions given in class to students. The firing was not personal but was not "public" either.

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  6 лет назад

      I agree. It's not up to me how the school was supposed to run. It is just one of many things that they do when to treating their employees. I don't think it is the same with disciplining student in a classroom. The reason was also personal based on the employer emotional decision. What was the point of everyone being summoned (especially including new British teachers) just to witness the firing in a 45 mins speech? All of us disagree with it although at the end it's not our decision how to run the school. Thanks for watching anyway :)

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  6 лет назад +3

      True! In reality only native speakers get the English teaching job visa, however in real practice, plenty of native speakers even teach with tourist/business visa. At the same time, plenty of non-native do the job with work visa although registered as something else. The demand for this job in China is so high and will always higher than the available people who can do/willing to do this job.

    In the Quran, God says, “And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms…” (24:31). When God revealed this verse, the female companions of the Prophet Muhammadp promptly adopted these guidelines. In a similar spirit of obedience, Muslim women have maintained modest covering (hijab) ever since.

    Do you have to have graduated University to teach English abroad (In China) if so does it matter which degree it is? And which degree do you have (if you have one) ? :)

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  6 лет назад

      You have to have a bachelor degree, teaching experiences or teaching certificate. The degree doesnt have to be about education. All of these requirement are must and required by the government to obtain a work visa. The school also has to have a license to hire foreign teacher :)

    Yep, the story you told about the teacher expelled. People managment in my personaly opinion is not only an issue in China, but can be a serious issue almost everyhwere in Asia. I have been frustrated with Human Resources at almost every company I worked for in Singapore.

    Syifa, I think u should stay, this century belongs to China, it has so much to offer, u could just look for another language center if current one not good.

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  6 лет назад

      I want to stay too but to be honest I need a break from China for a while and if I am coming back, I don't want to work for the same school. Moving to another city or find a school that can sponsor a non-native English teacher is difficult. I have talked to several schools and they cant or unwilling to sponsor a work visa since it is meticulous. Thank you so much for your suggestion.
