    😅😁You are very brave. Despite all warnings from the medias not to take ‘risk’ coming to China , you did it.Chinese is one of the six official languages of the United Nations and the most widely spoken language in the world. China's territory is the third largest in the world, so there is no problem for Chinese people never to go abroad, because China has all the topography in the world. The North and the South also have completely different cultures and foods. Chinese is indeed difficult, but if it is just for daily conversation and communication, you can quickly improve your communication skills with Chinese people in one month by studying in Beijing. I hope you can study happily. have fun!

    I admire you guys so much ! I am actually thinking of learning Mandarin next year, so this was inspirational. Pro tip: After a lesson, take a nap. There’s some neuroscience to this, but basically a nap was found to give the brain time to process and commit to muscle memory what it has learnt. And yeah, the brain is a muscle. Same is done in yoga, when at the end of the class you go into savasana , where you give the body and mind time to rest and consolidate the learning in the body.

    • @LTLChinese
      @LTLChinese Месяц назад +2

      Great tip by the way.
      FUN FACT || we have a big couch at the school (you might see it pop up in some of their videos). We had to rename this the nap-sofa because students just sleep there more than studying, chatting or browsing on phones!
      Welcome to join us in Beijing next year 💪

    If you start a one-month Chinese course before traveling around China, you should have a good opportunity to practice Chinese, maybe at this time you two already be a master of speaking Chinese.

    Молодец! I think you guys will cope, nothing is easy, study hard, and play hard, enjoy the journey 😊 A piece of advice, try using Chinese as much as possible, force yourself, even between 2 of you, and you will make better progress.

    When my friends and I graduated college in 1984, one multilingual friend took a job teaching second grade basically for children of ambassadors to that country. First she went to Germany for a year, then to Beijing planning for a year. She stayed 4 years and loved it! She spoke 5 languages when we left college, but said Mandarin was the hardest for her to become fluent..it took her over 2 years she felt to be fluent. So Good Luck, you're both so talented!
