The Segundo family have been doing our own excursions all over the Philippines 🇵🇭 as well and we just now have settled down to catch up with you guys and your own Nippon adventures. As usual, your travel vlogs never disappoint. We've caught up with your adventures so far and despite enjoying Filipino food, your latest vlog made us come to realize how much we miss authentic Japanese cuisine right this minute😢. I guess living in Japan all these years for my family and i have altered our palates somewhat. There's just something about how the Japanese combine the different flavors and textures of their food offerings and how they present it with such grace is just what makes Japan such a delight for hard-core foodies like you guys, don't you think? We totally enjoyed your latest vlog because we frequent Ryokans ourselves (mostly in Beppu, Fukuoka) because it's a way for us and everyone in Japan to get away from life's pressures to relax without the digital and everyday distractions of just living. As usual, your well- documented and educational vlogs are excellent. Keep bringing the brilliance on. By the way, we were laughing our eyes out watching you guys bathe because you guys didn't shower before diving head on into the hot pool. 🤣 Taking a bath with soap and water while sitting in the shower is an experience all to itself. Haha!!! Matane.!!! 😂 ❤🎉
Hello my friend! 👋 Thank you for taking the time to write us an awesome message! How’s the Philippines? We miss it! Kids call it home🥹But right now we’re all distracted with beautiful Japan. Nia wants to move here. She’s already inquiring about a student visa🤭😂 Yes, my gawd the food is heavenly here! The fish, the fruit, the tea…..everything is so good (and healthy)! I don’t know how we’ll be able to eat anywhere else.lol. We’ve been spoiled!🤪Wait, we were supposed to showered before the onsen?😲🫣Well Knox and Nia did but only because the water was too hot for them. But we all got used to it. Felt so good, especially with the cold mountain air hitting you. Ahhhh plus it was so quiet and peaceful just sitting outside. You’re right, it’s a great place to go and get away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to go back!
Konbanwa Ocampo kazoku. The Philippines is 👍 great. We're back @ BGC and We're going to Baguio and the north of the Philippines like Vigan and Ilocos Norte (where my parents are from) in a few days. Since there's an international airport there, we'll be flying back to Japan in a few weeks time. I can totally feel where Nia is coming from about wanting to study in Japan. Both my kids have no intentions of ever wanting to go back to the States to live. Since Japan is very safe, they can venture out on their own without a care in the world. No country in the world is that even a possibility. Thus, they've learned how to be independent at a very young age. Nia would love it! Ironically enough, we're condo shopping here @ BGC. Haha!!! The Philippines would be a great place to come back to during the cold Japanese winters. Omg! Japan is totally Sugoi. Don't even get me started....the fashion, designer goods (second hand) and the food, etc, etc, etc! Plus, there's a large Filipino expat community here. Whats not to ❤️love? I could go on and on. Tell Nia that she should just do it 😅 I've written a novel here so you guys take care and we're looking forward to seeing more of your amazing vlogs through Japan. Janee.. 😊🤙👍❤
Did they allow you to wear swimwear in the onsen? Just curious coz I’m trying to find an onsen that is tattoo friendly and swimwear ok.

Beautiful video. We're thinking of staying here next year and it was very helpful. You don't take a bath after soaking in the onsen because you're supposed to take a bath before getting into the onsen.
When you go, you gotta stay at this ryokan. Insanely beautiful! And the service is AMAZING!

Traditional Japanese breakfast is not to our liking. Sometimes, you have to admit it's not good.. traditional Japanese is not for everyone.
