I would recommend you to choose either an IPS or VA panel. TN tends to be a less pleasant viewing experience due to poor color accuracy and small viewing angles. The PS4 has a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, so 120Hz or 144Hz need not be a priority for you. This monitor would be fine for your consoles :)

Acer would be rich if they sold the SB242 in 1440p and 120hz with a 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut. It would be great for gamers, photo editors, people who want higher PPI, and people who want a smaller form factor on their desk.
We do not have an M1 MacBook Air to test with, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be compatible. Keep in mind you will need a display adapter as the M1 only has USB Type C connections. If you haven't already subscribed, we'd love to have you as part of the 3411 Heaven Fam ♥

1440p would be nice. Maybe a better refresh rate but its still good for the money. Just recently got some acer 24in ones. They are 60fps. They dont compare to these 27in ones. I hands down enjoy these better.
This looks like the same model used for the acer nitro xv272u. I hope it is so when I get a second monitor I don't need to spend the big bucks to make a clean looking dual monitor set up

you got a monitor but didnt try to game and do headshots - can it be better than a samsung 1980x1200 rated 60hz (75hz on some resultions) with the latest windows 10 which denies it to reqognise as samsung but uses the term Default... and forces 60 hz -Yes the latest windows update sucks or it s amd drivers that are to blame -anyway I got screentear and 4-5ms latency (i belive )

I hate this product for false advertising. The images on any seller does not justify those bezels at all and overall this looks like some cheap shit imo considering its CA$200 on a sale. I wouldn't mind those bezels at maybe 150 as other brands offer so much nicer looking monitors at that price or at around $20 extra
monitors do an awful job with dimensions. I encourage you to take a moment next time to take 20 seconds to give viewers an idea. In my case I need to fit it in a certain space.
