- Amid several claims of a toxic work environment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, a waitress has come forward saying she was nearly suspended after she waited on DeGeneres and the star allegedly complained about her chipped nails. Chris Farah said she was working at a Los Angeles restaurant in 2014 and served DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi. The meal went great, but she says Ellen emailed the restaurant to complain about her chipped nail polish. Farah says she was almost suspended from work. #InsideEdition

I quit after a couple of years. One of the worst in my opinion, was Paul Rudd. Now whenever I see him on TV, I automatically change the channel. Unfortunately, it's not just the actors though. It's also the director's, the producers, the camera man, and just about anybody that works in the entertainment industry.

I worked in food service from age 14-21. I treat any server with the UTMOST respect. I've stood in their shoes. Just like everyone else, they want to make a living to support themselves.
I told my sister almost 5 years ago there was something about her. I said she was fake and that her good deeds seemed forced and for popularity. You know how when someone does something nice but it's never for the right reasons, it isn't truly from their heart, that kinda vibe.

My experience with Ellen: Years before her talk show I attended her stand up in NYC. My friend insisted we go to the stage door to get a photo. Reluctantly I went. There were about ten people waiting. Security said she would be right out to say hello. Half hour later she waved from a limo .
No she didn't have to greet anyone. She seemed smug.
If it wasn't for the TV being invented, these people would be no one.

Then the owner doesn’t suspend you for chipped nail polish. This woman seems like she is conveniently leaving out parts of the story trying to use the “hate Ellen train” to get attention from hollywood.
She should have given her a BIG tip so she can have her nails done! That's what kind and understanding person would have done!
I remember once when I watching her show, i forgot who the guest was and what game they were playing but a cast member came out to help the guest with something, and as he was finishing up, Ellen says, “Get away from him.” It wasn’t jokey or lighthearted as we see on her show but instead really serious and I remember being so thrown off by it.
