I lived in north sulawesi and I must say lembeh is the heaven of macro divers and bunaken is as good as well but nothing compare with Raja Ampat. Thats why they called raja ampat is the “Last Paradise”.

What would you recommend the best for reef diving that is the best value and easy to get to?

I wanna get into scuba diving so bad!! I live in Yuma, AZ and it's nothing but desert here.. We're 2 1/2hrs from the Pacific Ocean. My dream is to make a living by working out on the ocean! Keep up the GREAT work!

You should! it takes me 2 hours to get to the coast and its nowhere near as good as the Pacific lol

I would say book a scuba certification in San Diego, They got NAUI as well as PADI instructors. Choose the one and plan to stay the week so you can get certified and then you can hit Baja or California. I think Arizona has many direct flights to Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica where all have amazing diving destinations.
