Thank you. I believe Steff took me under there originally. When the pontoon was in full use, there used to be giant trevallies circling, and you could find treasure in the sand!
Could you share the gopro settings you used for these amazing videos? The colors are amazing which I could never get even using a red filter, perhaps my iso or white balance needs correction
Thank you for your question. I believe I shot this video on a Gropro 9 or 10. Both have great colour correction. I don't use a filter, coz they only really work at certain depths. The ISO is 100 - 800 (1600 sometimes). The white balance is set too auto. In post production I edited in imovie for this video. Now I post produce in Final Cut Pro. In Final Cut I drop the green, which increases the red. If it's too red I drop this as well and increase the blue (just a touch) because people would rather see a hint of blue rather than green in there undersea shots. I hope this helps.
Most dives stretch down beyond 40m. Manta Point has the main cleaning station close to the surface. Before the pandemic, Manta Point had lots of snorkel day trips. Manta Point is a big extensive site, with lots of diving well above 30m. Cennigen Passage stretches down deep and so does most of the Northern sites. It is along these sites where the Mola Mola comes up from the deep to be cleaned. I hope this helps.
Hi. Video is amazing. I am a beginner. Shall do my first dive in bali - Nusa Penida. I want to enjoy these views on my first dive itself. Will it possible for me ?? If yes then which location and which company ??
I've always dived with Big Fish Diving. The answer is yes, you'll be able to dive these sites. Possibly not during your first days of your course as you're mastering your buoyancy. Big Fish Diving web: www.bigfishdiving.com/
If you're lucky, you'll encounter whitetip reef sharks around Mangroves and bamboo sharks are quiet common at Manta Point. I've also come across wobbegong sharks at Crystal Bay and I know people who have seen threshers and whale sharks cursing the Northern sites of Penida in the past.
@@skamp5421 No worries, glad I could help :) Enjoy the diving. If you need a dive center on Lembongan I would recommend Big Fish Diving facebook.com/bigfishdiving
Terry I've become a big fan of your videos. You go to some amazing sites. Are you still using your GoPro 9? the footage is astounding. Any lights or red filter or dome lens? Very impressive
Thank you for your lovely comment and question. Just recently I've been using GoPro 9 with the added wide lens for boat and land videos and a GoPro 10 for the underwater bits. If you're looking at the Alor videos, I just started using a tray with a touch.
@@DivingandDogs Thank you Terry for your quick reply. I'm not sure I want to watch your Alore videos. You are going to start costing me a lot of money trying to visit all of these beautiful sites. LOL Just kidding of course. I've been impressed that you have all of this great footage with just a selfie stick. I thought you had a talent for being able to shoot without the camera bouncing all over the place. So I'm sure the tray will make your video's that much better. Thx Terry , keep up the good work.
Wow, in 16 years I haven't been under the pontoon at Toyapakeh!. Love the video.

Even with 5mm wet suits, I'm shivering in sites like Manta point and Crystal bay. And I see you in shorties
You're right, it can be very cold at both sights.
Top dives sites 👍
Wow, another great video Terry. You've really got the knack of capturing the beauty of the underwater world.
Thank you Tim 👍
amazing video as always!
Thank you 🙂♥
Toyapahque is on of the best places for me
@shackleton1962 Absolutely, and by sheer coincidence, I’m diving at Toyapakeh today! Talk about timing!

Very handy thanks
What camera did u use underwater?
Thank you for the questions. I was using either a Gopro 9 or 10.
Looks like you stayed in lambongan and took dive boats?
Lembongan is cheaper and less populated than Bali or Penida. If you stay on the islands the dive sites are on your doorstep.
Hi, is there any of the spots where you can snorkel instead of diving? :-)
Manta Point is always full of snorkelers during the high season. Crystal Bay also gets a fair number of snorkelers. Hope this helps.
How deep are the dives at Manta Point and others in Nusa Lembongan and Penida?
