Question about old cnc controllers fanuc, etc vs hobby controllers like Acorn, Masso, Linux cnc. What do you think about retrofitting cnc with old controller with one of the hobby controllers. are any of them better than old controller. Because if i am correct retrofitting old fanuc with new one is expensive. Is there any chance to hobby controller to beat controller from newer cnc.

Haas sucks, its built to fail in 3 years when the warranyy expires. I do cnc repairs, I can feed my son thank to this brand
