Actually, in this sport, regarding his success, totally possible BUT. Listen to a few podcasts/clips of his mentor and main trainer Zahabi whar he thinks about people that juice in mma. He is so extreme that always when the "goat topic" get's asked he won't even consider jones, silva or ANYONE that even came close to juicing. So that's a no for me for sure.
I was asked to take a beating in training to give a guy who was fantastic the confidence he should have had, my coach knew i was the only one whos ego would allow it to happen without giving the game away and it totally worked

I don't get why only a few coaches understand this, fighting is a confidence sport. Everyone is scared, whoever manages the nerves the best and has equal ability typically wins.
GSP is arguably the greatest martial artist in the history of MMA and he has confidence issues
