Park City was my first ‘out west’ trip when I was a teen back in 1987. I was just an intermediate skier back then at best, but we managed to have our instructor take us up to Jupiter for a run down West Face. I remember looking down Six Bells on the way there in absolute disbelief that anyone would ski it.
I haven’t skied Park City since then, but frequent the cottonwood canyons for the steep and deep. Your video makes me want to carve out some time of my next Snowbird trip to revisit Jupiter.
Btw, breakfast looked awesome.
i think jupiter is one of the best zones in the wasatch! totally overshadowed by the bird/alta but thats fine with me haha
I used to be on the Jupiter rotation when I was on PC Ski Patrol back in the late 90's. Some of my best memories skiing are in those bowls. Great job capturing this area.

I’m grateful to have grown up with ParkCity 35 minutes from my front door. Fun fact in the early 2000s Park city had a K through 12 season pass for $100. I went 78 days the first season and 91 the next

I ski Jupiter and Scott’s Bowl all the time and yeah you had an epic day! Only that hike to Jupiter Peak is long and takes a lot out of you but it was fun and easy watching you do it. Lol

Most intense sequence I’ve ever seen, 12:45 while in the trees in indicator. The trail shots with the 360 are incredible, paired perfectly with the instrumental. Love it.
I’m Park City bound this weekend for a Friday, Saturday & Sunday lap session. Kids and wives are going to be left in NY. Hopeful for good conditions on Friday before the mountain gets overrun.

Beautiful. Love Park City, the trees and glades.
But some advice after 30 years of riding: best to not do these solo if possible. Hit a tree or get into a well or crevasse/covered stream with no buddy around, and that could be your last day on the mountain, or on the planet. Probably even more important mid to late in the season when snow bases are deeper.
I grew up in pc I used to take the trolly to town lift. I miss riding up Jupiter bowl

Hiking seemed like it was always the only way to get to Jupiter back when I was around 9 years old. Sucked at the beginning but the end always paid off.
PC looked epic this weekend, Too bad I was at Deer valley on Sat, missed ya just by a bit.
PC was great! snow was pretty good. i bet deer valley was good too though!
Rad edit! I never knew PC had that good of terrain. Next time you head up to Snow Basin Reach out, it would be fun to make some laps.
