I recommend once a year holding a meet and greet somewhere so your viewers get to know you and maybe ski or board with you. Also you reply to all your comments. I like it! Mammoth is my fave US mountain, the best dry snow !! So fun! Wild Willy's Hot Springs also rocks and when u can't access them due to snow, Bishop has a fun outdoor hot spring bath house that's old school and is super awesome!

Uhh I might have skipped the part where you talked about it but... either you did a whole run switch or genuinely set up the board backwards. I really wanna know if it was intentional because I have seen people ride their boards backwards especially when they get a directional board.
@@taotracy4431yea im not sure what you mean. It’s a true twin so I assumed it didn’t really matter. I’m no expert in board setup just enjoy riding. But some technical input would be appreciated if you have any!
@@Nickclogan measure your board from your tip to center of front binding then measure from the tail to the center of the rear binding. On a "true twin" normally you would make these measurements the same and your stance width would typically be shoulder width or more apart. Each binding should be rotated out like a duck stance. In powder board stance and board type become important. The neutral stance setup for Twins works good for park riding. All mountain or powder riding its better to have directional boards with stances set back so the tip is longer than the tail placing the weight back which allows the tip to plane better. Just like a surf board plaining over water. What happens when you drop in on the nose of your surfboard? 🙌

I ride two jones boards, the frontier as a daily all-arounder, and the mind expander (old surf-rocker profile) for powder and slush. The ME is the surfyest board i've ever ridden. Thing floats insane in powder and works really good in slush too. Not sure how the new ones with the surf-camber profile are, they look less pow focused and like more of a daily. Highly recoommend though. Christenson doesn't miss.
Lot more ❄️ than I was expecting. I was thinking about going but 5 hr drive for only 5 runs with huge lines... hopefully the forecast changes cause there's no big storm until the end of the year.

@ you can pay for RV parking but need a reservation. There’s a whole big parking lot that nobody really uses, Its been known to have people sleep there but that was a few years ago. There are a ton of dispersed camping spots at the bottom of the mountain and about a mile down the highway though. That’s what I’m gonna be doing once I get my van all ready to go! Haha
Burton flying V custom double camber design prob the best feeling board ive ever road much more free floating feel rather than a hard edge with a grip. Not great for ice and hard pack but for medium powder causing there's no better feel

Mammoth RV park also lets you get a shower for $10. Used it this weekend as we were in a van as well

This board is a twin and my bindings are setup pretty neutral so I’ll ride switch a lot. I would like to try a directional one though

@ Ranger Creek is the dispersed camping spot it has an airstrip there so it’s super easy to find. Gotta be 1000 spots there easy access and free

You can stay at the Moderne Hostel for about $40 a night for bunk beds as well. It seems like a great option to stay even warmer.
