Wow beautiful thank you for sharing. I have my sisters looking for fabric for me at the thrift store and I’m going out to look for fabric today. I have some of my daughter clothes I’m thinking about making a crazy quilt out of. I hope you’re having a blessed day God bless you and your family.
@@danceswithpitbulls Yes I’m l when out looking today and get a couple of things. But I will keep looking and my sister is looking also. Have a blessed day God bless you and your family.
I love your taste. I watch your videos and have yet to sew a crazy quilt though I LOVE crazy quilts and I have quite a collection that I have thrifted for next to nothing. I always wonder who made the quilts I thrifted and I know the person would appreciate that I love them so much!!
I have been crazy quilting thanks to your videos!! I have been doing them in small squares like one of your previous video recommends.... but now I want to try a vest!!! Do you think its easiest practise to do a bunch of sqaures, join them together and cut out the pattern?? Or just craz quilt straight onto a piece of material the shape of the vest pattern?
@@danceswithpitbulls I was at our local free shop picking up a few bags of clothes they saved for me when an old work buddy came in & we stated talking. She asked what I was doing with all those "junkie old clothes" so I told her I was making quilts with them. Her nose went up and I was told that "real quilters don't use that garbage". Told her "Well, all the people I've made quilts for think they are real and I have one woman that orders a single quilt once a year and pays me $300. for it." (I always throw in a quit for her great-granddaughter b/c I feel guilty taking her money.) She sure didn't like hearing that :-p
Hey! If Sadie likes wolves, maybe she’d like a wolf journal? Just a thought. This stretchy fabric in the middle rule makes sense to me. Avoid lumps and frustration. TFS. See ya laters.❤️
I think a wolf journal is a great idea. I will start collecting for one. I know I saw some images when I rummaged in my happy mail drawer the other day.
I think if you worked with it enough you could pull it off? Practice practice practice and be mindful of the edges. Then give the quilt to me when you finish it. P.S. I rarely use cotton unless it's really fancy.
I rarely use sweaters unless they are really really special IE metallic, embroidered, angora cables etc and so on but I have found a few cool ones in my day
I like your English. Thank you. I learning English now with your help. I live in Moscow.
wow I am glad I am helping you learn some English. I talk funny sometimes though lol

Are you leaning towards a color theme?

The red and black together = Stunning and I love the wolf. Fantastico💕💕💕
ThanksT rish. I think the red and black look Medieval .
I just love these blocks and the red and black embroidery stitches look amazing! That wolf panel will make it look super stunning.
I got the big piece with the wolf pieced today and have started embroidering it. Go me!
I love all your videos an beautiful work u do for all of us
Yes - Fabulous! Love the red and black.
Thanks Tammy I have wanted to do a red and black quilt for years. Now I have to make two of them lol
Love that block
I got part of it embroidered!
Thank you. You've given me some good ideas about what to do with little bits of left over sweaters.
I am curious as to what you are doing with those sweaters to have only little bits left over!
Love watching the deconstruction of garments
It's one of the funnest things I do lol
You make gorgeous quilts and I enjoy watching you piece the blocks :)
Oh thank you! It's a struggle to find enough time but I am pushing forward.

So very pretty. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you I am loving the red and black quilt so much!
I just started following you. I love this quilt!
I hope I don't let you down lol. I mainly do crazy quilt stuff on Fridays but please check out my other videos

Do a bunch of squares. You can lay them on the pattern to determine how many you need
haha........I agreee with the comments below....and I like what You say: do it, do it....... yes is the best lesson...... hugs and :-)
Yes, just DO IT! mess it up and do it again! Do it until you like it. Just do it.
I make a point of using the "do not use in quilts" material from clothing in my quilts. Good usage of stretchy fabrics :)
I like how you put that. As you and I know, the quilt police are not allowed in the crazy quilting circles lol.

SO COOL!!!
Thanks Victor. I am still waiting to hear that you are making a quilt.
What do you use for the main fabric that you sew them on to?
mainly muslin or old sheets. You can use just about anything though
I want to do a quilt with nothing but cashmere scraps. So you're saying I cannot do that? I need to add cotton to the edges?

Добро пожаловать
Красиво, очень хочется увидеть конечный результат. Что вы сшили из этих блоков?
Они идут в одеяло моей внучки. Я давно не работал над этим. Я надеюсь найти время, чтобы закончить его когда-нибудь.
God that’s a beautiful sweater. Pains me to see mr snip go to town.. how have you been?
I have cut up garments much more prettier than this. You get over it lol. I have been fair to middlin wishing I could get snowed in for a bit
I have found putting an iron on stabilizer on stretchy fabric makes them easier to use
Yes, that's an option. I, however, am too cheap to do it lol
Would you embroider the wolf
Maybe if I have time which I don't so probably no lol
I am embroidering the seams though.
danceswithpitbulls I thought the eye nd facial features could be enhanced wit( your skills
Never thought to cut up a sweater
I rarely use sweaters unless they are really really special IE metallic, embroidered, angora cables etc and so on but I have found a few cool ones in my day
Gosh, so brave to just cut into it like that!
practice practice practice- it gets easier every time!
