I love hearing the arrogance decline as Europeans react to American videos. Media shows the extremes of America so often that people think it’s the norm. There’s nothing entertaining about “My 200 pound life” or “ 20 minutes of people naming countries”. It’s like they take “the joke” seriously.
Regarding obesity, you have a comparison of people in the UK that they see in real life vs individuals from US reality shows about people who are extremely overweight. Every country has those that weigh too much and those that are unhealthily thin. You should have fewer firm opinions if you've never lived in the US.
You do realize, those videos of content creators asking people to name three countries...is skewed, right. They don't actually show you all the people who answered correctly. They show you all the slow ones, for entertainment purposes. Duh 🙄😂 😜
Idk it seems Europeans aren't really critical or deep thinkers, more emotional reactors with a superiority complex. I say this only from reading and responding to comments by Europeans about USA.
Right..,I just said that and then I seen your comment. they’re not random. They are cherry picked to show the most stupid funny, ridiculous answers. People don’t wanna see Americans looking, smart, they want to see them looking dumb.
But you won't find a person if you conduct such a conversation in my country. I can guarantee atleast 999 out of 1000 knows atleast 5 countries in urban areas atleast. You have to admit it is way worse in US
@@Inquisitive_NomadThat is hard to say. How many people did they interview to get the desired wrong answers? Most would be able to tell you multiple countries. People seek out those that can be used to make a certain impression so they can obtain views and support their narrative. On the reverse side, how many Europeans would be able to name multiple state names, cities names, where Boise or Wichita is, etc. We all know what we interact with and need to know on a daily basis.
I find it crazy that the UK always ignores the knife issue that’s there. We have lots of guns, some people are idiots with them. Same with your knives, all UK folks have at least one knife. It’s how you use the tool that’s makes the difference. But we protect our guns because we don’t trust our own government lol.
They are just telling us their biases without any facts. I’m an American that lives in the UK (not by choice) and I can tell you there is a lot of ignorance here as well even about their own country. Keep in mind these RUclipsrs don’t even know that Northern Ireland is part of the UK, their own place.
I grew up in Texas along the border with Mexico. I had a mandatory Spanish class every year of school. High school required 2 years of a foreign language to graduate.
From my experience, most/all public High Schools (secondary) and Colleges/Universities do require you to take secondary language. I would guess Spanish is probably the most popular with French in second (just a guess) but that could vary depending on where you live.
I’m in my late 70’s, and when I was in the 7th grade, we had to take a second language - either French or Spanish which continued through high school. So I had 6 years of French. When I was in the US Army, I took a test an qualifed with Freanch as a second language. When I when to university, there was a foriegn language requirement, so I took another two years of French (French Literature mostly).
spanish is absolutely the go to second language in the us, makes sense since spanish is the second most spoken language in the entire country. Most people i knew took spanish atleast a couple years in my hs personally.
Y'all are so misinformed. The Uk is only 8% behind America in it's obesity rate...36% to 28%. Which means y'all are catching fast, up considering your population is much smaller. Secondly, you fail to acknowledge the wealth gap or socioeconomics in the States, which is a major factor in determining someone's weight. Because of what they eat or lack thereof. If you are poor, then you will not readily have access to healthier more costly food choices. And being overweight isn't necessarily about overeating ( portion size). It could come from actually undereating and having poor diets...i.e. lack of accessibility.
@@cedcole702 no one is forcing them to go and eat at these places. They could also decline to accept these restaurants into the country. Not to mention, the UK was starting to catch up in obesity rates. Before the recent influx of American chain restaurants. That's on them not America.
Agree to disagree about your assessment. You sound very left wing in your argument. They always say that poor people can’t “get to” or acquire basic stuff like healthy food. Get real, with food stamps they can buy way better stuff than I can afford. So that’s a lame excuse, I’m sorry.
Just remember, we packed up a lot of books and took them to America. You call it nappies and US call it diapers. This word is in William Shakespeare books. Diaper is old English. That is why we use it.
A British person asking an American person "why do you need a gun" and saying "it's not needed, it's not necessary" is HIGHLY comical. It's you. You are the reason we have that right as American citizens. "if the government turned around and said all citizens need to hand in their guns by 10 o'clock" . . . I'm dying of laughter. Yes! Exactly! Now you're getting it!
My jaw dropped when she smugly said "Why do you need guns?" These people need to learn a hell of a lot more about our history before they pass judgement on the 2nd amendment
As a European I can only say: G-d bless America. The best superpower ever. They saved our butts in two world wars and guaranteed our freedom for 50 years of a Cold War.
The term soccer originated in the UK. You lot decided to go back to calling it football and by the time we got the memo we already had a sport we were calling football 🏈
Also know that it is significantly hotter in the majority of the US than Europe. 35 C to 40 C is not uncommon during the summer in the US, it actually expected.
First time I visited Switzerland I was shocked and terrified. Military officers walking in public train with their guns. Here in the USA this is not common, maybe in disaster situations national guards will carry guns that is only for deterrent.
As an American many many of us know a lot about geography & other facts about the world. These videos that show how dumb we are are just crap that content creators make & only put the ones that support their narrative. Also as an American. Many of us just don’t care what other people or countries think of us. We really don’t care. Sometimes it just sounds like people are just jealous or angry at us or of their own lives. I have never been to Europe & don’t want to go. Don’t care about your cultures or anything about you. I’m not saying this out of anger or spite. I just don’t care. This country is so versatile in its geography & climates that I get everything that I need from it. We also have the Caribbean & central & South America. We good. 👍🏽
From my experience US schools offer various foreign languages like German, French, Spanish, Spanish is becoming part of the US, just like other languages.
The "give me free s*** I'm too lazy to work" crowd ignore those inconvenient truths. Edit: He specifically mentioned foreigners receiving it. That's the one case where it's actually free monetarily.
I’m an American who lives in England(not by choice) and the NHS sucks(UK “free healthcare”). I would rather pay my insurance premiums from my job and have better hospitals, shorter wait times and better care in the US. Accidentally cut my hand and was heavy bleeding on the floor and was told to wait an hour for an ambulance. Near passing out from blood loss, i had my 8 month pregnant wife carry me to the car and drive me to the hospital.
That’s also the thing in Europe and England they love their “free” healthcare because they don’t know any better. Had my first kid in the US, the hospital was great, private rooms, great staff and top notch care. All payed through my insurance at work. Had my second child in the UK shared rooms, dirty facilities and not the greatest care( payed through ridiculously high taxes). We were also at one of the “nicer” hospitals in the area.
@@Silky808 My wife became pregnant when we didn't have insurance, and we were able to get some sort of insurance before the birth. It wasn't great insurance, because that's hard to get after you are already pregnant. But our out of pocket expenses for the birth was probably less than $1000. I've seen people say that births in the US costs people $20,000...I don't know where these numbers come from, but they are hogwash.
The U.S. healthcare system is a complete 💩 show. The biggest problem? It’s not even universal. Your health is chained to insurance, which is chained to your job. And even if you’re "lucky" enough to have insurance, you're still at the mercy of greedy companies that deny coverage or make essential care unaffordable. The solution? Medicare for All-because healthcare should be a right, not a privilege
Guns - I live in the State of Ohio, U.S.A. In Ohio, citizens are not required to have a license to carry a handgun. Not in the open or concealed. This is a deterrent to someone thinking about committing a crime. Also, if someone shoots at you, at least you can defend yourself.Because of our guns, we have the largest standing army in the World, which is another reason that no Country could ever invade American soil.
I’m from America and usually the language people are required to learn in high school is Spanish because a lot of our neighboring countries speak Spanish. Sometimes French is an option. In my school Mandarin, American Sign Language, and Japanese were also options.
This is pure brainwashing. Sure, the U.S. is better off than the global South, but when you compare it to other Western countries, it falls behind in critical areas. The U.S. excels in sports, military power, and total GDP, but beyond that, it’s mediocre-or downright bad-in so many aspects of life
Its very common to take Spanish as a second language here because of our proximity to Mexico and the amount of Latin Americans in the country. But you can also take European languages such as German, French, Italian. My school even had Japanese.
The USA has millions and millions of square miles of range land, forest, desert, farms, ranch land etc. We have cougars, rattlesnakes, bobcats, bears and on and on that attack livestock, cats, dogs and in some cases, humans. Most of the people that carry guns on them, or have them in a gunrack in their truck are rural people, mountain men, ranchers, hunters etc. The vast majority of us are *not* NRA nutcases, and in many places, we don't lock our homes or cars, and have little to no crime. Yes, we have guns, grow up with them, but the majority have nothing to do with violence or mass shootings, and deplore those that do. Lastly, most us do *not* support the right to own so called "assault" weapons.
@@JACpotatos Get an education. Read something. Learn about guns. Try to act like an adult and realize that your trolling efforts suck, are pathetic, childish, and failing.
At least at my high school in the state of Georgia in order to have enough credits to graduate, you were required to attend a secondary language class. I remember there were two choices: Spanish and Latin. Now you only needed to attend a secondary language class for one year in order to meet graduation requirements, but you also had the option of continuing the class if you wanted.
I've been to the UK I've definitely seen huge people especially in the north of England (which is where I was) and in Scotland there were quite a lot as well but I avoided London and the south in general because I've been told the south of England was quite rude and places in London were crime ridden and if you don't know where you're going you might be robbed.
I don't know of a southern state that doesn't get 100° F (38° C) for at least a week every Summer. Some even more, when I lived in Texas most of August was at least 100° days got down to 75° F at night (25.556° C)
I grew up in the 1980s in New York. My high school offered Spanish and French, and then if you excelled in either of those languages, you could study Russian. I ended up studying Spanish because the French class got cancelled. Now I have solid knowledge of French, German and Italian. Plus I am completely fluent in Spanish and I speak it with a perfect Mexican accent. If I count the other languages I have studied on my own, I know about 12 languages in all. Some I can just read while others I can just order a meal. But I never need a translation app while traveling. I lived in Mexico for about 16 months and I have traveled to more than have the continents. If Covid had not happened, I would have visited 6 of the 7 continents. As for geography, I know the location and capital of 99% of the world's nations.
2nd amendment, the right to defend yourself and your home from criminals and a tyrannical government. It’s the second amendment because that’s how important it is. The Declaration of Independence says it’s our duty to preserve our rights.
Yes but the 80% of us who live in cities generally choose not to exercise our 2A rights. I personally have not touched a firearm since I got out of the Navy in 2003. I have zero reason to touch one. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (grew up here, share the values). It's stupid that the Supreme Court took away the right of counties to be "may issue", because that's a MAJOR cultural difference. It should be obvious that people in the City of Houston are not as interested in allowing open carry, or CC without a license, as the people out in the countryside hundreds of miles from the nearest major city in Texas, yes? So why can't We the People of Houston say "here in Houston, it's may issue for CCW. We don't care about other counties, they can do shall issue if they want, but here, it's may issue."??? Makes no sense that abortion would be state to state but counties aren't allowed to not give out CCWs.
we have a right to "keep and bear" arms. Whether you are open carrying or conceal carrying, that is "bearing" an arm. The Supreme court has, generally, been okay with one or the other being prohibited, but not both. Both being prohibited, would be unconstitutional. Allowing any local, state, or federal agency to reduce or ban a right specifically enumerated in the Constitution, allows all of them to ban any and all other rights. Regarding abortion, Roe vs Wade was a supreme court decision that said The federal government could prevent all states from banning abortion. This violated the 10th amendment to the constitution. The 10th Amendment says that any power that is not specifically enumerated in the U.S. constitution (abortion wasn't) was a power reserved to the state governments. State governments had already been exercising that power for many decades. Some banned abortion, some did not. Therefore, the most recent Supreme Court decision overturned the previous ruling in Roe vs Wade, clarifying that the decision had been wrong because it was a power not granted to the federal government that had already been exercised by the states. All the ruling did was return things to how they were. States can or cannot allow or ban abortions, the federal government cannot (without an amendment to the constitution). @@neutrino78x
@@brianphillips8228 "he Supreme court has, generally, been okay with one or the other being prohibited, but not both. Both being prohibited, would be unconstitutional." The areas with some sense aren't trying to do that. We are saying, yes you can carry concealed, but you need a permit. This is for public safety. Perhaps it's hard for you to understand that the culture in urban areas is different from the culture in rural areas. Hopefully Congress can fix. Only 42% of all homes in the USA have a firearm. "Regarding abortion, Roe vs Wade was a supreme court decision that said The federal government could prevent all states from banning abortion. This violated the 10th amendment to the constitution. " That's what the Court said recently, but they didn't say it violated the 10th at the time. So yes, if the federal government can't prevent all states from banning abortion, it follows that the federal government can't tell all states not to ban open carry and regulate concealed carry. Because of cultural differences, and what should be obvious differences in how safe it is for everyone to have a gun in an URBAN area as opposed to a rural one, this should be a right that communities have. You're trying to impose big government on women as well as local communities.
"Because of cultural differences, and what should be obvious differences in how safe it is for everyone to have a gun in an URBAN area as opposed to a rural one, this should be a right that communities have." The point of us seeking independence and creating the constitution that we have, was to prevent laws from constantly changing according to the present popular opinion. If we were to allow the right to keep and bear arms to be restricted in your community, the right for women to vote can be restricted in another. We created a clear distinction between a right and a privilege. A privilege requires permission, a right does not. After the civil war, the southern communities passed laws that infringed on the rights of freed slaves. It was parts of southern culture that blacks did not and should not have some rights, so they passed laws to enforce their culture, regardless of what the constitution said. The federal government passed laws allowing for the use of federal troops in the south to protect the rights of freed slaves, and capture or kill the oppressors. The "Posse Comitatus" act ended that. The adoption of the "Posse Comitatus" act, allowed parts of the southern culture to terrorise blacks for well over a century. Nothing was stopping different areas, with their different cultures, from violating the rights of blacks. That is an example of what can happen when different communities can claim different culture for justifying oppression. @@neutrino78x
I'm not trying to impose anything. There is supposed to be a big distinction between a right and a privilege. A privilege requires permission, a right does not. We, obviously, have a right to keep and bear arms. We, obviously, have not had a right to abortion. States, once again, are allowing their own citizens (not big brother federal government) to decide if abortion is legal in their state. The majority of voters concerned with this issue are women. Men generally don't vote on this issue. Women can, just as they did with voting rights, secure their right to abortion by getting an amendment to the U.S. constitution passed. Because this had never been done, and all laws regarding abortion were state laws, the Supreme Court HAD to rule as they did recently. Rights are not imposed on people that do not want them for themselves. Rights that are wanted by some are protected by the federal government from others that do not want you to have them. You want to restrict or ban the right of others to keep and bear arms. One persons right ENDS where another persons right begins. A persons right to keep and bear arms ends only where another persons right to not be shot begins. The right of you, or a community, or a state, or the federal government to regulate, restrict, or ban ends where my right to keep and bear arms begins. @@neutrino78x

When i obtained my CCW permit i had to wait a year before the process of looking into my background. I had to submit 3 fingerprint card 1 for the FBI, 1 for our state police and Last one in my file with the county clerk. On top of that i fill out a new criminal check to be submotted for approval by the ATF. Not all staes can you just walk in and buy a gun.
You need to move bro....that's some straight up BS being thrown in front of your 2nd Amendment Rights. Why people allow that nonsense is crazy...imagine if they made you do all of that to vote or use your 1st Amendment Rights...would you be ok with it ? It's nonsense.
It's always funny when people who dont live here watch a few videos and think they understand life gets. Like we really are just scared every time we go outside lol
Bro gun laws are bs - 90% of gun crime is illegal guns not LEGAL GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!! Ffs … My family has 12 guns of different variety.. we love to go to the range but above all it’s a form of protection if anyone dares to break in our home. Most people who get a gun legally are responsible people who don’t cause any harm
Growing up in Nebraska, Spanish was the big one we could study in primary and secondary years. If you moved to a bigger city like Lincoln or Omaha, you could routinely find Spanish, French, and German in those schools.
I thought the most recent date said that the U.S is not even in the top 10 most obese countries? If I remember correctly, the Uk was higher than the U.S. Also, most (around 60%) of all gun related deaths are suicides. On the other hand, there are things the U.S can do better, as with any other country in the world. We all have biases that tend to be incorrect when it comes to stereotypes. We think we know something when we have only seen a few videos or interacted with only a few people in our own little bubbles.
...btw, I have a daughter in school and not once have I been concerned that she would be harmed in a school shooting. Any school shooting is way too much, but it is rare enough that it isn't an overriding concern for most people.
At my high school we had Spanish, French, German and Japanese as language options. However, people here are bilingual a lot of times because their parents or grandparents are immigrants and they learned both languages from birth. It's passed down.
I LOVE the way you are ATTEMPTING to explain guns, God blees you and I know you are trying to understand something that you can not possibly understand, BUT you had it right when you said that IF the government put out tomorrow, that every law abiding citizen was required to turn in their guns by such and such date and time, you are ABSOLUTELY correct, that we would have a brand new government in place BEFORE said date and time, and there is no better example of that then the LAST time someone tried to take our guns away from us, that someone was King George III, on April 19th of 1775, and look how that ended up! personally I have ALWAYS worn a gun on my body somewhere since the age of 21, and is absolutely normal for me, do I NEED to? well so far, I have only needed it 1 time, and I am glad that I had it, so I would say that no I do not NEED to, and I hope and pray that I will never again need to have it on my person, BUT I personally would always rather have it ready and NEVER EVER NEED it, than to NEED it 1 time, and not have it available to me. the second amendment to our constitution was put in there because WE THE PEOPLE, had just finished fighting a war with Britian and our founding fathers KNEW that we might have to do that again, so the RIGHT to keep and bear arms, was for WE THE PEOPLE, to protect ourselves from our own government should it ever become tyrannical. and it is called the Bill of RIGHTS, not the Bill of Needs, or Bill of I really want 1, or Bill of I would like to have, IT IS A RIGHT, 1 that will NEVER be taken away.
In the U.S, learning a 2nd language is not mandatory in many states. Most Central and northern states do not require you to learn a second language in school. On the other hand many Southern States add Spanish as a mandatory class that you must take.
The gun thing will never go away. The reason is that the government cannot have the power to subdue the people. If they tried, the people will rebel and this comes from the beginning when the country was created.
We could rule the world.....but we don't. Americans are a peace loving people and believe in peace through strength. You should probably pray that America stays the most powerful because we are the only ones standing between Europe and possible Chinese or Russian world denomination.
French, German, and Spanish were all offered in American highschool, but Spanish was the most popular by far, especially near Mexico. French is only really popular near areas where French people settled because it's an easy way to pass with a good grade when your family speaks French already.
Both in high school middle school and college/ University the primary foreign language options we have in the US at least in the states of West Virginia and North Carolina are Spanish which nearly everyone has and sometimes I've seen French that's about it 99% is going to go to Spanish as a secondary
Air conditioning is a luxury? Come and try it. It's a necessity!!! When the outside temperature goes up in 30'sC good luck to open your windows. You will be roasted
In most high schools here (that I know of), 2 years of a foreign language is a graduation requirement. Granted, that's nowhere near enough to become fluent, but many students only take the bare minimum because either they struggled/it didn't come naturally, or they wanted to free up their class schedules for electives more relevant to their goals (i.e., my kids' high schools offer electronics, engineering, graphic design, criminal justice, emergency medical training, art, orchestra, technical training, firefighter training, etc). So if you don't see yourself using that foreign language much in your adult life, it doesn't make much sense to take more than the requirement. That said, you can generally take 4-5 years of a foreign language, if you so choose. I took 4.5 years of Spanish (started in middle school), graduated from high school a year early, and lived in Argentina for 5 months as an exchange student before college (where I took 2 more semesters of Spanish, and a semester of Mandarin). But to be honest, U.S. citizens generally have far less need for foreign languages, as our country spans a good portion of an entire continent, and 1 of our 2 ONLY neighboring countries ALSO speaks English. And many of us will never be able to afford to travel further than the continent we live on, anyway. I do, however, love speaking Spanish and being able to communicate with Spanish speakers here, as well as learning about other countries I would love to be able to visit someday - especially the UK! ❤
Most high schools in America often several foreign languages for study. I think Spanish and French are most common where I am at, but I know people who learned Japanese or German in high school.
America health insurance has this cool catch called max out of pocket, usually around 5-10K per year once you hit that mark the rest is either paid for by the insurance or written off by the health providers for the rest of that year. So when you see those huge hospital bills remember that those are before insurance is applied, usually discounting the whole thing than after that is handled, if they hit their max out of pocket the rest is handled between the health providers and the insurance provider(s) for the remainder for the rest of that year. I find that this fact is usually not well known to people who don't understand how medical insurance works.
The answer to your question why Americans have the second amendment of the Consitution is due to England. The Founding Fathers that had come from the Tyranny of the English Crown, that was we fought the Revolutionary War against the UK. The second amendment reads as follows....... " A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the Right of the the People, to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. "
A large portion of the American population are immigrants who speak their native language as well as English. The Brits say its not normal to have a firearm. Thank British King George for Americans insisting on the second amendment right in the US Constitution! Prior to the American Revolutionary War the British confiscated colonial Americans firearms, seized private property without due process and forced Americans to board British troops. Ask the Australians about how out of control their "reasonable gun laws" resulted in almost a universal ban of all private citizen gun ownership.
The Go To language in school is Spanish because we have millions of Spanish speaking immigrants. It's the second most common language and for a lot of people speak Spanish as their first language.
as a 64 year old american I can say "DONT GET SICK in the USA", only multimillionaires can afford medical care here or insurance. a 1 hour emergency room trip will cost $2000+, and hospital stays are $2000-$10,000 a DAY BEFORE the doctor bill. health insurance runs about $1000-$2000 a month WITH deductables of $1000 +. if I get sick or seriously injured Im as good as dead becouse I cannot afford insurance or medical care. the only doctor I go to is the dentist which runs $150 for a dental exam and cleaning. a root canal is $2500, and a filling is $350.
It is true that most american christians are over the top religiously and most christians are conservative! Sorry mike but this american stereotype is true!
It is part of our CONSTITUTION. get a copy and read it, then read how the 2nd amendment came into being. War with England played a big part in the US creating this amendment.
Yes, it mandatory to take a foreign language in high school and it’s usually Spanish. As far as big portion sizes in restaurants, its common for us to take half home which is not common in Europe.
A couple of things: I'm asked to foreign language, most American schools even down to middle schools give children the option to learn a second language if they so choose in high school in college, most American teens decide whether they want to learn a foreign language based on what job they feel they're going to want to do. Also, it's based on the fact that we have a multicultural country there are people here living here from all over the world and some of them don't speak our language well so we may have to learn a little bit of their language to be able to communicate
I've seen lots of videos where the Brits also struggle with geography.....there are dozens of countries in Europe, few are going to be able to label all of them correctly. Also "random person on the street" is usually not a good indicator of how educated people are. If you want someone to represent Britain in an interview to determine how much Brits know about the world, would you choose a guy from the countryside with a Cockney accent, or a Londoner who has an advanced degree from Oxford? Look at this way: of the top ten universities in the world, by academic reputation, six of them are in the USA, and all of those have low foreign enrollment.
I live on a reservation everyone atleast bilingual with a native language plus Spanish we even have signs and menus I. Native languages because the older folks won't speak English.
Spying? Research by Clarion Security Systems estimates that there are over 7,371,903 CCTV cameras in the UK, meaning there is 1 CCTV camera for every 11 people in the UK. You are likely to be captured on UK CCTV up to 70 times per day. You win...on the being tracked and spied on category.

Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Arabic, chinese, korean, russian. All depends on where you are in the us but the big across the country are spanish, french, german. In large metro areas in the US, particularly in the NE and places like Chicago and LA, the schools have many dozens of languages. The US is the second largest Spanish speaking country in the world.
I was in school in the 60s and 70s and we had to take at least two years of a foreign language. The choices varied depending on your state, but most offered Spanish, French and German. I am 68 so I have no idea how it is now.

As an American I think it is wild that UK police can just barge into your home and arrest you for a comment you made on Social Media.
I find it crazy that the UK always ignores the knife issue that’s there. We have lots of guns, some people are idiots with them. Same with your knives, all UK folks have at least one knife. It’s how you use the tool that’s makes the difference. But we protect our guns because we don’t trust our own government lol.
England started out calling it Soccer, Soccer is an England word. We inherited it.
Tbh you guys are misinformed...
German was the second most popular behind Spanish in Pennsylvania for many years. I think it depends on who settled the area in the greatest numbers.
You tell them KiKi!
Unfortunately, a lot of that catching up is due to American restaurants opening up all over Europe like McDonald's and KFC etc.

Bingo.
It's because during the Revolution the patriots weapons were confiscated. Blame King George.
Spanish is the language the USA.
The second amendment is terrible and should be repealed. Gun ownership should be a privilege, not a right
In high school in America, the 2 most common languages to learn are Spanish and French
As a European I can only say: G-d bless America.

Especially in the southern US. 37 C with 100% humidity
We good. 👍🏽
In Switzerland each household is required to have a rifle!
From my experience US schools offer various foreign languages like German, French, Spanish, Spanish is becoming part of the US, just like other languages.
okay. that's good stuff.

There is no free healthcare.... You either pay insurance premiums or you pay taxes.. Either way you pay.

Also, if someone shoots at you, at least you can defend yourself.Because of our guns, we have the largest standing army in the World, which is another reason that no Country could ever invade American soil.

the obesity is only about 1% of the population. Then there are overweight people yes, but not to much overweight.
Its very common to take Spanish as a second language here because of our proximity to Mexico and the amount of Latin Americans in the country. But you can also take European languages such as German, French, Italian. My school even had Japanese.
Don’t forget, Canadian people have air conditioners

“Football” was called soccer in England until the 1980s
You really need to watch NFL biggest hits. You will instantly see the difference between football and Rugby.
Funny, if you ask an American where they're from, the typical response is the State they're from. 😂

"he Supreme court has, generally, been okay with one or the other being prohibited, but not both. Both being prohibited, would be unconstitutional."
The areas with some sense aren't trying to do that.
That's what the Court said recently, but they didn't say it violated the 10th at the time.
"Because of cultural differences, and what should be obvious differences in how safe it is for everyone to have a gun in an URBAN area as opposed to a rural one, this should be a right that communities have."
The point of us seeking independence and creating the constitution that we have, was to prevent laws from constantly changing according to the present popular opinion.

Learning a second language is required to graduate high school in my state atleast and the most common is Spanish by far. Second would be French.
Feel like i watch a video made by Nicky Minaj and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from wish .
In most US states, there is a second language requirement in elementary through high school. The most common second language is Spanish.
Those "man on the street" quizzes only show the stupid people. How many people knew the answers but didn't make the cut BECAUSE they knew the answer?

He didn't mention warmongers. WWI Europe WWII Europe! Last war on American soil was our cuvil war.
100% all colleges that i was applying to looked highly on having another language learned in high school, French and Spanish were the options we had
In America it is required to learn a different language in order to graduate from highschool.
I’ll bet the United States has more fit people who are in shape and work out than the UK has people… if I’ve everyone wants to keep calling us fat, even though I’m not fat and am in great shape and always have been all they do is focus on the negative. So tired of it. The UK has plenty of fat people too by the way.
The amount of BS regarding obesity is crazy...the US doesn't even place in the top 10 countries by percent of the population being obese. Yet somehow everyone seems to have heard about the "fat Americans". In fact 2023 data says both England and N Ireland both have higher obesity rates than the USA...
Or you can go to target or wallyworld even the Nurses and receptionists at my Doctors are obese.
Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Arabic, chinese, korean, russian. All depends on where you are in the us but the big across the country are spanish, french, german. In Kentucky most took French i took 3 years. You have freedom to choose in Kentucky i chose french bc my ancestry is french but most in america take Spanish. And guns most people conceal carry firearms, i conceal carry a glock everyday and you wouldn't know by looking at me and health care there are programs to help pay that off if you dont have health insurance, i had private health insurance and had appendix surgery and cost was 113,000 dollars i paid 0 insurance paid it
In large metro areas in the US, particularly in the NE and places like Chicago and LA, the schools have many dozens of languages. The US is the second largest Spanish speaking country in the world.
I was in school in the 60s and 70s and we had to take at least two years of a foreign language. The choices varied depending on your state, but most offered Spanish, French and German. I am 68 so I have no idea how it is now.
Nobody in my American family has ever owned a gun.
