    This is amazing! I have wanted to find a motorsport news channel or blog for some years, even considered starting my own. But now I have finally made it to your page, and here is all I have been searching for. Keep up the great work!

    As a big Lola racing fan I was proud to see them as a team in a big series again but desapointed this week end because the partnership with Yamaha was promising and we have a very good driver lineup probably the most underrated on the grid but the car was simply not here but I know it’s their first season so the car can improve in the year because di grassi (wish is in my opinion at his prime one of the best non f1 driver)did well with wath he had, I was a bit scared he was washed because of the last 2 poor seasons but this weekend was good for him unfortunately he Abandonned and for Maloney idk why he was so bad this weekend maybe it’s because he is new to fe or maybe the car was not good I don’t really no.
    As always love your reviews

      For Maloney I think he deserves a big rookie bonus for now, FE might be the worst series for newcomers.

    Was wondering if Ferrari Academy was about to drop Dino, but he might have saved it with these F2 monster drives to finish the year off. Just what he needed.

      Wrote an F2 review script today and this is almost word for word what I wrote about Dino - please stop hacking my notes 😂

      It was reoumerd untill they they find what went wrong in F3 this year (car issues) but he still showerd promsing things in F1 sim and his F2 weekends showed that he still goat it. But it wasn't confirmed untill after Qatar weekend if he would stay or not but after his performance their they exteended his Contact with Ferrari.

    F1: WE'VE DONE IT!!! McLaren's first Constructor's title since 1998, and therefore the first one they've won in my lifetime (I'm a 1999 lad)! So I've seen them win one WDC (2008), one WCC (2024), now I need to see them win both in the same year to complete the set! Piastri and Verstappen colliding gave me a scare, but Norris delivered, absolutely controlled the race, while the Ferrari drivers both drove great races as well. But the title is McLaren's and considering all they've been through during the title drought, going from title contenders to midfield runners to pretty much at the back of the grid in the Honda years, and even coming close to going under at one point, this is pretty special. It's the end of an era too with Lewis Hamilton leaving Mercedes and moving to the Prancing Horse. I'm going to be in an interesting position next year: I want Hamilton to do well and win races for Ferrari and be in the title fight, but I don't want Ferrari to win (gotta back the boys in papaya)!
    FE: A pretty wild opener, featuring Mitch Evans completing a last-to-first challenge, Pascal Wehrlein ending up upside down for the third time in his career (level with Mark Webber it seems), and a charge up the field from McLaren to get a 3-4 and take the lead of the Team's Championship, with Taylot Barnard getting a podium! Attack Mode looked pretty op with the addition of 4-wheel drive, which could cause plenty of chaos, but we still have the fast-charge pitstops to come in, so no idea how the rest of the races will be this season. Looks quite promising so far.
    F1A: As I said last week, Pulling absolutely deserves this title, she's dominated the year and pulled off a clean sweep of podiums! Great for Maya Weug to finally get a win but what was going on in the final race, everyone just went nuts! Definite last day of school vibes.
    F2: Well, that was a bit of an anticlimax wasn't it? But Gabriel Botoleto is the champion, and a deserving one too. Though I have no idea how to judge anyone to be honest, it was a bonkers year. 18 winners, 21 podium finishers, 32 drivers in all and consistency was very hard for anyone to find and reliability as usual, was a bit of a lottery. I know that people have for example speculated about the engines not being equal, and a particular target for that appears to have been Joshua Dürksen, given his mediocre FR record and he's suddenly good in F2. Which well, have people considered that maybe he just suits the F2 car better than FR and is able to get more out of it? Plus he seems to have a decent F4 record, with multiple wins in every series he competed in at that level.
    Meanwhile on the driver move front, Sebastián Montoya steps up to F2 next year. I don't know how to judge him in F3, yes he's clearly quite fast but his results are all over the place, and 16th and 17th in his two full seasons, well, we'll see I guess. And Ritomo Miyata switches from Rodin to ART. I'm glad he's getting another shot, I really want him to do well, but he really needs to not pick up so many penalties! I think his final championship position might not necessarily be fully representative of the results his performances merited, e.g. he lost a podium in Spain due to a time penalty.

      While I am inclined to believe that there is something to the 'Dürksen's engine' story just because of the amount of rumours I think his career is a bit misunderstood. His FR isn't bad at all, he just happend to be driving for a backmarker team. Smashed his teammates both times, including Noel Leon. It is really only the F3 skipping part that looked a bit mad on paper, considering it was even a questionable decision for Antonelli.

      @dominicbarden4436 11 дней назад +1

      @RaceWeekReview True, got to take the equipment into account. But still, it's not as if he's come from absolutely nowhere!
      Plus, the 'all cars are equal in a spec series' tagline is a myth taken as fact, in my opinion. Even in a spec series there is a pecking order in terms of which teams have better infrastructure and are able to attract better driving and engineering talent.
      On another F1 note, how have Alpine salvaged 6th!? Ok, Brazil was the key race in that but their form since then has been pretty solid, particularly on Gasly's part. They've seemingly recovered quite nicely from what was a disaster of a season up to that point.

    • @RaceWeekReview
      @RaceWeekReview  11 дней назад

      True, Gasly just about took P10 from Hülkenberg along the way too. No way they're getting praise for that though, this is where they should have been all year - such a disappointing team to like 😅

    I’m also very confused with dale coyle racing in indycar who still have not confirmed any of their drivers Toby sowery who is a very fast driver but on little budget Ik him quite well in that sense but Katherine white who was competeing with him this year wasn’t the fastest but I assume that she has a lot of budget and I need to check their drivers from this year 2

      After last season I'd be happy if they have any degree of stability in their lineup this year. 10 drivers for two cars is mad

    Is that down to beganovic just being more suited to F2 or is that just Dams being super stronf

    • @RaceWeekReview
      @RaceWeekReview  10 дней назад

      Valid point, my best guess is a bit of both. DAMS certainly looked rapid but he also got the better of Crawford quite comfortably

    • @felixarkang5414
      @felixarkang5414 8 дней назад +1

      Bascially Prema didn't take hid feedback seriously this year for some reason idk why Dino was certainly not happy with that that's why decieded to leave them. While Dams did the oppsite so he immediately felt more comfortable in F2 car since it was setup how he wants it not like how teamates wants it. He also said that Dame and Hitech F2 cars feels very different but both of them suits his driving style well.

    You said that Red Bull will no longer be sending junior drivers to Japanese Super Formula. Do you know why? That is, let's RB and VCARB have Max, Yuki, Liam and someone as their 4 drivers and Hadjar does not get a seat. I understand that he could return to F2 or act as an RB reserve, but do you know why they would not send someone like him to Super Formula?

    • @RaceWeekReview
      @RaceWeekReview  11 дней назад +1

      I figured they won't be sending drivers to SF anymore because they did announce the conclusion of their partnership with Mugen but why they don't want that anymore I can only speculate. The Honda deal ending definitely has to play into it but that is my best guess.
      On the flipside we could ask why no other team entertains the idea of sending juniors to SF. Presumably the costs involved, as always. Either way, Hadjar returning to F2 would be a huge mistake imho - winning in his 3rd year won't raise his stock any further, he can only mess it up really.

    • @TheWhiskyRebel
      @TheWhiskyRebel 11 дней назад +1

      @RaceWeekReview If he doesn't get the VCARB seat, then, what would be best for Hadjar? Reserve? WEC?

    • @RaceWeekReview
      @RaceWeekReview  11 дней назад

      They all seem to prefer that one year as a reserve just to keep their foot in the door, I think once you leave the paddock for WEC / Indy or something else a return is highly unlikely. So I think he'll be a part of the RB teams one way or another next year

    Why AIX/PHM always do these Paydriver Line-ups? Nissany, Benavides, Mason, Koolen and now Shields.

    • @dynamoproductions5

      Because they clearly need the money. Shields has no business in F2, but money speaks louder than talent sometimes.
