Question for you: I have a vintage 1941 chevrolet hubcap i found in the woods. I don't have steel wool, will sandpaper work to clean my hubcap without damaging the look? Because it has some paint left on the hubcap Thankyou :)
Hey Jonathan, I think the sandpaper might be too abrasive and would do damage, I would wait and get either steel wool with wd40 or those SOS scrubbing pads work very well too. The soap in those makes a great lubricant as you clean.
