Hey man. I'm sure it's because of the months having passed between now and when the video was made (given various errors that are somewhat easy to fix) but thank you heaps for the video. Everyone else either pitches the installation process like some overly brand-friendly personality or with inconsistencies, but you were direct. Thanks again.
I got a ton of errors. Are python and git supposed to be in the same folder? I have them in separate. But i just get so many errors, that i don't receive a url for stable diffusion. Specifically when it comes to download tortch

For python install I used conda environment with specific version of python (it has chosen some different subversion but it works).
For git clone youi might want to navigate to drive where you have a lot of space (preferably SSD). After playing with it, im might be around 70 - 100 GB (I like experimenting with models)
Wait what is 100 gb? "Conda environment"? Whats that :o I have 10gb not 100!

It was going fine until downloading models. When I visit the Dependencies url there is no #3 "The Stable Diffiusion model checkpoint..." and no download link.
i have an idea, how about in the future when you do a tutorial you walk us step by step through the process instead of having already installed everything. A friend of mine watched your video and got confused so i had to help him. overall its a simple process to download and install but having that visual confirmation of doing it the same way will help your viewers. Anyways those are my 2 cents.

A simple, easy to understand tutorial, but i'm at my wits end now as I'm getting "RuntimeError: Expected all tensors to be on the same device, but found at least two devices, cpu and cuda:0! (when checking argument for argument index in method wrapper_CUDA__index_select)"

all i get after running webui_user windows batch file is an infinite prompt of "installing torch and torch vision" . please tell me this is okay and i just have to wait for it to finish
It takes way too long but yes, just wait for fifteen minutes or so

When I install Automatic1111 stable diffusion. And when I click on any folder or file in my desktop with the right mouse and click on properties it gives me a small blurred table with blurred text?
It looks like when you don't install the graphics card driver or when you enter the computer in safe mode?
cd desktop does not work for me "The system cannot find the path specified" comes up

Edit webui-user in your stable-diffusion folder and find
COMMANDLINE_ARGS=
and change it to:

Not sure if they changed it, but my install included 1.5 pruned.
So... Not having a CUDA (Nvidia) card makes this a no-go? I know that if I were running Linux, there's a workaround for AMD/other cards, but curious if you have thoughts on this problem?
It wouldn't let me change my directory to desktop, what should I do?
Edit: I decided to add it to me downloads folder and the windows batch file didn't work correctly

For me It cant find the desktop path when i run the cd command.
Edit: my directory was “onedrive\desktop” not just desktop

wow ... that is a lot of nonsense how hard is it to have a single install file. They really went out of their way to nerded up a convoluted way to get it.
