Thanks, working full time and being a full time dad I’m lucky to fish once a week. And when I do I try my best to catch because I only get one chance that week if I get to go. Thanks for sticking around and watching the videos.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! I was hoping to hit Calaveras up next Thursday on the boat but I see rain and lightning in the forecast. Hopefully the Texas weather changes I would like a few catfish.
Thanks I love fishing Calaveras! The boat is good to go, just needs a scrub down from the fish slime. Hopefully next Thursday I can take it out or the following. Sometimes I choose not to take it because I love bank fishing as mush as I do fishing in a boat. 🚤 🐟 🎣
Man I get there early as possible. That’s my favorite spot where I was fishing at. After 8 I usually have no more luck haha. I posted them on my channel I just made. @chestmountreels
Sign says 2 rods per person at entrance. But you will see 5 rods per person at the bank most of the times. 😂. If the bank is empty use 2 or 3 no one will say anything unless is a weekend and crowded.
During the winter months the reds like to swim near the rocks next to the dam to catch the heat that reflects from the sun. You can still catch from the bank but you need to wade out and get a little deeper. The channel cats will be on the move so you can probably catch both!
I walk to at least little above waste high. And after you throw it just let it sink don’t pull on the line because the hooks love snag rocks. Just make sure the line is straight
No I mean the one to buy all the time that you hook right on the end of the pole you can get him at Bass pro shop academy anywhere I use them all the time

That Lousianna Fish Fry is hard to beat. Great catches man!
It’s the only one I know and the only one I buy plus it’s cheap as in great price. My favorite is the beer batter though. Thanks 👊🏽
Nice video and thank you for sharing! 🎣🐟
I've been watching your videos for awhile. You seem to always catch. Keep it going.

Thanks Bro, Got to have fish at least once a week! Everyone that morning was catching!
@Fishin4Trophies of course. Your going to catch though. You are the Calaveras King
For real, even on the bank, you catch. Nice dude.
Thanks I try my hardest when I’m out there. I think everyone on the bank was catching because poles where bending to the left and right!
Awesome!!
Thanks 👊🏽

Nice catch !!!!
Where exactly is Caleveras Lake located ?
Thanks 👊🏽 20 miles southeast of Downtown San Antonio. Google maps should take you right there. Thanks for watching
I was literally 2 spots down from you haha. I caught 7 reds from 6:30-8am
Very nice I love that side of the park! Oh yeah I did see rods bending in that direction! Must have been you! 👊🏽

@jakerivas8025 😂 I’m early to go fishing late to everything else! Nice will subscribe to your new channel!
I was there yesterday too I wonder if I saw you
I think I was at table 8 to the right of the park! There was a lot of people there once 11 am came.
hi bro, good fising, how many rods can i use from bank

Just a heads up Calaveras has gators..not super large ones but could be large enough to take a taste of ya
Oh yeah, I think there’s like five or six of them. Thanks for the heads up.
@Fishin4Trophies no problem I've lived within walking distance my whole life Lotta people don't know about those gators lol 😆
How are the redfish bites during the winter months there?

Can you drop the coordinates to where you fish?
I tried access got denied
What table area were you at?
Table 7! And still a great table to fish the bank.👊🏽
How far you walk out to cast?
I walk to at least little above waste high. And after you throw it just let it sink don’t pull on the line because the hooks love snag rocks. Just make sure the line is straight
My birthday!!
Why don't you use cowbells on the end
Now that would be funny 😄
No I mean the one to buy all the time that you hook right on the end of the pole you can get him at Bass pro shop academy anywhere I use them all the time
You just clip them on the end of the pole.
You’re not supposed to eat fish from Calaveras lake, it’ll get you fish.
Thanks for the heads up on eating the fish there! 😎
@@Fishin4Trophiesoops I meant it’ll get you sick not fish
@@BetticeOutdoorswhy? There’s no consumption advisory on TPWD for Calaveras or Braunig.
