At first I was skeptical about the center shifter but it’s growing on me and the chrome front of the SLT/LTZ looks better than I expected (considering the last couple generations)
I have a white base model 2021 GMC Sierra 1500, still have the tree branch shifter on mine but also have the chrome front and back bumpers and i can't complain about the look. Truck looks good even with the chrome and at first i was gonna get it all wrapped or swapped to white lmao but not anymore.
I’m a GM guy but in my opinion, gmc has always looked better. I just feel like it’s always more aggressive. I’m in love with the truck. Can’t wait for the upcoming videos on the new gmc and chomper now that you got the daily.
Seems to me they go back and fourth. The 16 ish trucks I think the chevys looked great but now I feel the chevys just look meh and the gmc looks better
I have a 2021 GMC Denali with the 3.0L Inline 6 Duramax Turbo Diesel that I love. I’ve gotten 37.5 mpg on highway and 28-29 city. I’m getting about 650 miles a tankful on it. Mine is also black with huge chrome grill up front.

I work in Sales for GMC and these new trucks have been gorgeous and so many people have tried to come in just to see sold units. So far my favorite has been a 2022 Sierra 1500 AT4 with the 3.0L Duramax in the Desert sand metallic color. Was SO nice

I bought my first Sierra SLT X-31 5.3L 8-speed auto tranny in 2019. It was silver. Great truck. But I needed more muscle for towing our RV, so I traded it for a 2021 F250 6.7L Lariat, which is an incredibly powerful and good-looking truck. Then my wife and I woke up one day, decided we didn't want to live in a box while snow birding 4-5 months in the winter and bought a casita on a golf course in AZ. The big diesel F250 was just too much truck to use as a daily driver. And diesel fuel....thanks to Brandon, it was costing nearly $200 to fill the tank. That's a ball buster. So, my wife and I sold the RV and the F250. Made money on both. But now I needed another truck. I always loved our Sierra. I regretted selling it. So yesterday, I found, bought and brought home a 2022 Sierra SLT X-31. Only this time it's a very rich looking Satin Steel Metallic. Eye candy. A fantastic color. And this one has the 6.2L engine with 10-speed tranny. So, I went full circle and ended up, in many ways, with the same truck I had in 2019. Just a bigger engine and different color. Due to some bad experiences over the years, I do not care for car salespeople or car dealerships. But, I did get a great kid (yes, watch the comments about the grandpa grab bar) who handled our sale. I'm very focused and determined and have a routine when I buy a vehicle. He listened and understood that from the get-go and did a great job from the moment we pulled on the lot until we left later that day with the truck. Last comment is that, in Idaho, while MANY of the dealerships are putting a "market adjustment" aka ripping off their customers, on top of the sticker price, this dealership does not do that and I even got a little knocked off. Maybe because I was determined that they throw me a bone. And maybe because we bought two vehicles there previously. Whatever. Having said all of this, the truck market is a CF. Prices are inflated to the point where they break the "stupid" meter. But they have you by the short hairs. Want a new truck? They're in the drivers seat. Not you. God how things have changed. And not for the better. They have limited inventory. Dealer showrooms are not cubicles for salespeople. And it takes 4-7 months to get a truck you order. I told the guy in charge as we were wrapping things up to be careful with the "attitude". Brandon is running the country into the ground. Prices are too high, interest rates are going up, inflation is eroding the consumers buying power and wages can't keep up. That's a toxic combination of nothing good. And at some point, maybe in the next 12-18 months, this attitude is going to bite you on the ass. They're always happy to get me in/out and on my way. Good luck everyone.
@DevilDog53 True. You can hold your breath until you turn purple, not get the truck you want or need and they're happy to sell it to the next person in line. They simply don't care if you walk. So, the idea that the customer is in the driver's seat? Not now. Not any time soon.

Gotta love the smell of a new truck!! I’m still getting used to my ‘22 Trailboss and the console shift.. I’ve tried to put mine in park and put it in reverse, forgetting it’s a push button park. LOL.. But love the truck. Can’t wait to see some upgrades to it.
Got a black 2020 Elevation and totally love it, 5.3, got all the goody's because there were no chip shortages back then, also came with 20-inch wheels the step side option is a must for the ladies.
I’ve put every pickup I’ve owned to the Governor the day I bought it. Never had an issue. Current one was hooked up and towing atv trailer in the mountains at Mike 500.
Dude my guy no joke the camera picked up the sound difference between the trucks so well even i was shocked at how quiet the maiden voyage in the new truck was
@@toddbob55 I have driven GM products; Chevrolet and Cadillac (with the exception of 3 Ford pickups in my 20’s) and have had basically zero issues with them in 50+ years. I did have one let me down 15 years ago or so. I’ll take my chances. GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate ordered and anxiously awaiting. Thanks for your concern.
I have the exact same spec coming in a few weeks. SLT, black on black, 4x4, on 18’s. Nice to see a video of basically the same truck I’m getting. I definitely didn’t make a mistake, that thing looks great.
My last three trucks have been rams but I’m seriously considering trading in my 2021 for the new Sierra. GMC knocked it out of the park with this redesign.

Sweet ! I'm thinking of getting one but I have to stick to the bench seat and unbolt and remove the center jump seat for more side to side room. I got bad knees so I'll add the automatic running boards.
Don’t worry about getting on it a bit, a family friend growing up worked for a local dealer and their job was to run them to the gas station and back then they got $6-7 in gas and literally tried to blow them up because they wanted it to happen there instead of later on, don’t know if all do dealers service does this but they did.
Nice truck man but after looking at these and the new Ford’s I think Ford takes it. Also can’t imagine buying a 70k truck and features not work due to chip crisis.
Check out the belltech 4" lift if you dont want to cut the frame. I have it on my 21 sierra and love it. Made it look so much better, it sets like a leveled AT4 now.

I am in New Mexico waiting on my AT4 also. Mine isn’t scheduled to be built until the last week of June. So still seems like forever until I will get it
@@chrislopez5595 😳 Yikes😩! I ordered mine back in January. Was picked up by GM on 4-23-2022, built and produced on 05-01-2022, and now sitting on the Transport lot awaiting final destination to Kingston MA. I got it in titanium rush metallic.
@@IG_Gh0st3 I ordered mine the first week of February. And the order finally got accepted last week. With the late June TPW so hopefully soon. It’s been hard to be patient. I got all the options on my black AT4. So I am sure needing a lot of chips doesn’t help
@@chrislopez5595 from what I’m hearing and seeing all 2022 refreshed AT4 and above model’s built end of March and beyond, will no longer be delivered will options retrofitted. They will be installed directly on the assembly line. So no worries your truck will have all the bells and whistles you added. Mines definitely does and a Borla cat back exhaust system thru the bumper with Borla black tips. No HDMI ports here lol. Trailer mirrors the whole 9 yards. Nothing more you can add to that Beast. 6.2 L all wrapped up and out the door at a whopping $72k!

80s and 90s chevys were alot better. Gmc was more of a general truck. 2000s and on they stepped their game up.
