haha, my band director: Tracey Hanna, was in the 110, she met Shaun Hurley there, (he is one of the dancers in this video!) and last week they just got married! :D ahhhh, band geek love.
They have a great group. It was a nice show to see when they came to WVU in the late 90's. I was in the WVU tuba corps at the time. If I remember correctly they played "Smooth Criminal" at that show.
When our high school jazz band played that last year, we actually did the aite, aite, aite part, but nobody seems to ever do it, congrats to this band!!
The difference to this band and most bands i see out there. This is not just another performance, these people are having fun doing what they are doing.
That guy in the front that was like bending Over backwards!! I think he's playing a trumpet or something. He must have really strong legs jeez that looked painful!! Awesome!!
Wow, this is cool. Our Band Director at University of West Georgia came from there, so we kinda do what they do, but we are down in Georgia. We took this song waaaaaay faster, try 180 bpm.
POWER!!!!!!! wow, i really feel the power of this band, and trumpet (and any brass really) can get backwash spit just from playing, i play trombone, and it happens nearly every show
@ThePhantomSafetyPin yeah it kind of sucks being a 90 member band competing against them, that was a couple years ago though, I've graduated now and the band I was in is up to 120.
WOW! this rocks. Such talent brought tears to my eyes. Others have tried to do this song, but not to this level.
This is so good. I'm playing this too in band and it's a very fun piece.
Drumline is just having a motherf**king ball!

ahhhh, band geek love.
the drumline is overpowering the other instruments.
Always :/
they always will
What do you expect in an enclosed room? They're not gonna change heights and basically ruin all of their practice for one performance.
Best drumline ever!!!!
Wow, i go to University of West Georgia, our director of Bands is a grad of OU, so we do EVERYTHING OU does, and we LOVE IT!!!
They have a great group. It was a nice show to see when they came to WVU in the late 90's. I was in the WVU tuba corps at the time. If I remember correctly they played "Smooth Criminal" at that show.
