Presage has always been the one exotic mission I liked to play often it just feels like a creepy atmosphere and dead man’s tale has always been one of my fav exotic and very iconic
Two other weapons that I would say are worth your time is disparity (1 of 3 aggressive burst pulses) that can be built for either pve or pvp and piece of mind which is exclusively pvp but it’s a monster of a gun that feels great to use
piece of mind is pretty solid when pulses are in the artifact, i gilded conq in risen with one rocking overflow/focused fury
@@viviolet7 true, there’s just other options available now that imo edge it out. Both of the kinetic raid pulses (chattering bone with KT and KC or smite with demo and junkie) however it’s still a good legendary option if you don’t do raids and have bad rng with trying to get something like a KT battle scars
Imo legendary pulses for the most part are kinda mid in pve. The only ones that I think are actually decent are the aggressive 4 burst pulses and there maybe some exception from the other archetypes.
Also there are 4 of the aggressive pulses: Sacred provenance, insidious, disparity and that veles x (5 if you include revision zero)

Took me 16 runs of seraph shield to get the 2 ikelos smgs I needed for crafting, painful but worth it. Demo on the dead messenger is 10% grenade energy per kill so its very viable as an alternative to forbearance in 90% of content.
Just gonna throw this out there as totally my opinion, the best damage perk for the SMGs is enhanced Surrounded. Between the free 47% damage boost and how Bungie is designing activities now, I have it up literally all the time. That’s just me though, y’all give it a try.

Just need calus mini tool from this list tbh. My first ikelos smg roll is and has been shoot to loot voltshot and I love it.
Just wanted to ask about the crafted exotics when u finish the missions for the first time it gives u the exotic u extract the weapon then ut says level 1 must u level up the weapon to get demo on tye DM? Just making sure lol
So should you run trace rifles with double special still and use a special ginger finisher mod? Or is a trace and primary ginger better? Without double special it feels hard to deal with tankier enemies without using ginger heavy, but double special is tough on ammo ginger economy ginger.
Chill clip on fire and forget has been great in GM’s.

i've been doing the seraph shield mission for 3 days and didnt get a single ikelos smg, is this a bug or am i just VERY unlucky?
Is the stasis RL with chill clip not worth it anymore? Not too long ago it was a must have???
Literally ran the seraph mission over 40 times this week to get the ikelos smg since I only need 1 for the pattern to craft. Didn’t get a single smg. Luckily I can now raft the crappy handcannon so yay me

Good list. Don't overlook lightweight bows since the buffs, they feel great now and put in work for ad clear with the right perks. I've been loving Tripwire Canary (in honorable mentions) and Tyranny of Heaven from Last Wish this season. p.s. Ginger!

I abuse mine with stats for all/one for all and it definitely picks up the lack in survivability that solar and void can take advantage of

Do farming legend have a higher chance to get red boarders
personally, if I need unstoppable rounds in the current season, I will use the Eremite, its charge time is long enough that I can just hold the charge button and the shot is ready just before the shot is fired
It drops one random weapon at the end of a 15 minute mission. From a loot pool of ten weapons it should just be a guaranteed red boarder each time
Presage is usually closer to 20 minutes for me and the drop rates are terrible. You should be able to pick your 1 for sure red border week at least
What about the weapons of the season of plunder? Why they didn't including them in those exotic missions? Has anyone any Infos
I know everybody loves target lock on the retrofit, but I definitely recommend trying out one for all on it instead. It’s an Ad clear machine! And can still dish out comparable damage to target lock on bigger health enemies
This may be a stupid question but why would I waste my power ammo on ads? I have two weapon slots and three abilities that can do the same thing
@@Alak-Hul_Darkbladenightfall this week has lots of ads. Run a one and done super for boss and use abilities for buff/survivability/team play. Depends on your play style.
@@Alak-Hul_Darkbladeto kill adds quickly and not die in gms. weapons like wish ender, quicksilver does insane damage anyway. and i wouldn't use retrofit for add clear, commemoration all the way.

ive done like 10 - 12 seraph shield runs and of the 6 weapons i want from the mission i have gotten 3, no ikelos smgs and no retrofit escapade. i got 1 deepsight path of least resistance and way too many judgement of kelgoraths. honestly if they made it so that engrams that drop in the mission are also part of the loot pool it would make farming a lot less tedious
5:00 I've noticed that some people seem to absolutely loathe the idea of machine guns as dps options. I had a guy on reddit get so angry that Thunderlord was a viable option for Nezarec during contest mode and even shortly after contest mode ended because "a machine gun should never be a valid dps option".
The only exception to that HMG DPS ire was xenophage.
For many old Players its a casual Topic, but for new Players, these Missions could be very interesting. F.e. Im grinding the hell out of Presage to get 5 Callus Mini Tools, to spend my Deepsight Harmonizers on. Also, I would like to try and get an Explosive Personality with Auto Loading.
Good luck on your 2 year grind. After 25 clears I still have 0. Drop rates are horrendous
Ive had about 10 Clears and one Callus MT. Im trying to get 2 this Week and then 2 the next Presage Rotation. Yeah its hard, Presage has about 10 Weapons obtainable but I try. I have the Mida Mini Tool and can say, no other SMG feels the same for me especially in the Solar Section.
But they should increase the Drop Rates. Just 1 Weapon for an 30 minutes Mission is somewhat annoying.
Hope your grind is going well, I'm in the same boat trying to farm for Calus. Though, I did 15 presages and only got one to drop 😩

I recently got back to the game, and actualy didnt play that much cause my pc used to crash on destiny due to over heating
Now i have a better pc and wanted to try it again , so is there any weapon in this video that im able to get being f2p? I want to play the f2p content before actualy buying any dlc
Fire and forget is probably the most underrated weapon on here. With enhanced chill clip you can freeze a barrier champ before their barrier goes up, and obviously stager unstops and overloads as well. Not to mention chill clip in general just fucking slaps against any enemies. On a stasis surge activity, primarily a gm, it absolute destroys and makes the activity so easy. I paired it with field prep for a bit more ammo and reload and it's genuinely fucking fire.
There's infinitely better weapons that can roll chill clip than an lfr
@@insignia7714that’s true but to have it on a linear in endgame content is underrated as an alternative option to handle all champions and still put out decent dps
It’s my favorite linear in the game tbh. Being able to handle all champs is impossible for me to overlook

I love it how the only weapons I get god rolls on naturally are the ones easiest to farm 😭
I lucked out last year and just got RNG god rolls of sweet sorrow, drang, path of least resistance, disparity, and I still have my god roll ikelos smg from arrivals
After 20plus clears I have 1 sweet sorrow, 0 red borders. There is nothing easy about grinding these weapons. Drop rates are horrendous
Does the legend version of missions increase drop chances of red borders by any chance bc the drop chance is so bad imo

I have such bad luck on these Exotic missions, it always gives me the most random red borders for guns I don’t want. I’ve been trying to get a CALUS Mini, Disparity, Fire and Forget and Explosive Personality for forever.
While I have most of these weapons crafted already, I wanted to watch just so I could listen to my favorite ginger

I have grinded presage and seraph 25+ times each and still haven’t gotten calus or ikelos smg once it’s driving me nuts

Normal
Legend is mainly for exotic catalysts and doing your weekly challenge

Ran Sereph Shield so many times for the smg. Only needed 2.Then for the past 2 weeks Xur has been selling it. Go figure.
I also refuse to run Vox Obscura. Hate the mission with a passion. I've been using the Harsh Language with destabilising rounds. Does the job.
This grind is serious. Ran a minimum of 30 Seraph Shield and got only one Ikelos SMG. Also, got two black screens and the boss and two glitches where we killed the boss but couldn't go to the computer. Need two more SMG and I'm done.
TBH i have a crafted Explosive personality in my vault and i LOVE that thing, Recently whipped it out again to farm some Seraph Station, and it just clears the final bossroom no issues...
Decided to take a break however as afther a hour my host i found on Bungie fireteams finder, decided to kick me just as we where completing the mission... I hope that guy gets his account terminated i was pissed!

You probably aren’t thinking you need to craft a Drang for PvP but seriously, Drang is a great all around sidearm in any non-Master activity. Craft one!

they need a boss rush mode so we dont have to run the whole mission every time i run about 100 a week and get nothing lol
After doing 50+ of each mission, all I can say is that deepsight rates are terrible. I’d sometimes go 5 runs without getting one.
i must be the luckiest man because every time i did the mission i got a red border (tough mostly weapons i don't care like the non smg ikelos)
I absolutely despise any weapon with voltshot. Having to get a kill then reload is one of the most annoying and worst ways to proc any perk imo. Incandescent and enhance incandescent outshines voltshot with the synergy it brings to solar.
Voltshot without reloading would be game breaking to have on a gun with unlimited ammo

I really want the craftable dead messenger but vox obscura has to b 1 of my least favorite missions. Hell, at least I'm not a ginger 😂
@Seasonofwar1 many games plagued with cheaters. Definitely not a game for casual players tho. Requires too much commitment & others to get thru certain content.
I've played since taken king but find it more annoying than ever & ppl who used to play regularly don't anymore so I just end up behind & missing out on a lot of what I need.
Ppl bitch so much & want it to b so difficult so certain activities r just out of reach for non god tier players.

Thank you I’ve been saying this all along legendary bows are trash. Why would you ever use one when the exotic ones are 1 million times better good roles or not on a legendary bow. They do not feel right they should be removed from the game personally.

Is it just me or is it sad that grinding these weapons now is infinitely less painful than it was grinding them out during the seasons? Season of the Haunted guns were great, but I got exhausted of opening chests and running the public event in one week. I stopped playing the game entirely as soon as I got my Beloved, Austringer and Mida crafted. I had more fun farming the Leviathan spawn room for Black Armory frames than I did the entirety of that season. Solar builds made the entire game a joke, the seasonal activity was awful, and Duality is easily the worst dungeon in the game. So glad the seasonal model was improved with Lightfall. I would honestly take Season of the Deep over every single Witch Queen season.

In my opinion trace rifles are way too weak legendary and exotic and i think the only way to buff trace rifles without interfering with another special weapon types job is to give a intrinsic trait for all trace rifles to do more damage the longer you hold the trigger and give special perks like auto reload perk on kills i think this can make trace rifles very viable and useable and genuinely fun without making em too op and jus find another way to change up cold heart and make it strong and honestly i think all exotic specials should get buff because their honestly not good or useable in harder activities i think they all really needa get buffed or reworked a lil for being special and a exotic they should be a lot stronger than they are i love where legendary and exotic primaries are rn their perfect but specials should be level above their damage even merciless is pretty bad being sucha cool and you’d think strong exotic, exotic specials, all trace rifles, some swords, slow fusion need a lot higher damage a lotta sniper need a little buff giving how hard or unviable they are to use in activities besides a raid boss and rapid fire shotguns need a huge buff given how low the range is meaning you gotta be a lot closer to enemies, also how fun they and diverse they are capable of so many builds and plz we don’t need any more nerfs , everything thats good rn is perfectly good, we all needa get bungie to see this
