Thank you for this demo!! Someone listed one of these for sale locally.. and I'd never heard of this one so I check youtube. Your demo is extremely helpful! Sounds great! :)
These units are great, even by today’s standards. There was a bit of controversy surrounding them back then. It had been alleged that Yamaha essentially reverse-engineered a DigiTech GSP-7 for much of the preamp circuits and effects. Who knows if that claim is true, but they sound great nevertheless.
Hi Mr, I have the same processor but the names of my presets are different from your processor shown in the video. 👍Do you know if there are different versions and if these songs can be transferred via MIDI? Greetings from Buenos Aires
Thank you for your comments. I'm afraid that the one I have was broken last year. I've found the site, Yamaha FX770 Owner's Manual. Please check instead. www.manualslib.com/manual/374599/Yamaha-Fx770.html Thank you.
Yes, FX770 (1993) came out the after FX900 (1990). FX770 is simple model and it has the amp simulator. Also it has the send/return jack in the back panel. So, it is kind of guitar preamp. Thank you for your comments.
THE USERS ARE A COPY OF THE PRESETS, BUT IF YOU SAY IT X THE SETTIGS FACTORY MENU THEME, THE MANUAL DOES NOT SAY SO, YOU SHOULD REMOVE THE TOP COVER AND REMOVE THE BATTERY ( IT IS USUALLY THE CR2032, I WOULD REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE ) REMOVE IT AND LEAVE IT FOR A FEW MINUTES, ALL USER PROGRAMS WILL BE ERASED, AND THE PRESETS RETURN THERE. AND YOU REMAIN WITH FACTORY STTINGS
@@jamesbond-mb5ws thanks alot my Dear.another method i have found. HOLD COMP AND PLAY WHILE POWERING ON.so you do not have to open the unit or remove the battery

...I seem to have a different set of presets in mine (V1.2E 9406) is there a chance to get a parameter list of those found in your version?
