One of the most impactful concepts I learned in my yoga teacher training in 2015 was that we are not our thoughts-to act as what's called "witness consciousness" or the "impartial observer", seeing our thoughts float past the sky of our mind, like clouds, constantly in flux, coming and going... and just because we have a thought, doesn't mean that it's true.
We can't always help the types of thoughts that suddenly pop into our mind, however we can always exercise the power of choice and implant *preferred* thoughts and more beneficial ways of thinking.
As Dr. Joe Dispenza has said many times, don't let any thought pass by your awareness unchecked or unfiltered.

I've said ENOUGH this year. I'm doing all that I can to shift again and again from those destructive patterns.

Hello, I have been listening to you since 2020 when I took a cross country trip solo during Covid - I love your material and find it super helpful- I have a question and I do not know if you will actually see this message as I’m sure you have many but if you do - I would appreciate your feedback or maybe even an episode on this topic - I personally find the idea that I am a limitless and infinite eternal being absolutely paralyzing for some odd reason- maybe I am fearful of being bored haha - but I never hear anyone speak on this - I know it’s supposed to be liberating knowing that we don’t really die and we just wake up - but it actually causes an opposite reaction in me and I really can’t even understand it and I would love any input or guidance on some books or any information on why I feel like this - I feel like it’s the underlying cause of my struggle to live in my full potential and I don’t know where to turn for answers - thank you very much!

The belief in scarcity is one of the most prevalent beliefs we have. It's a rather malignant belief too; it gets everywhere and nobody needs to try too hard to spread the idea. Preys upon human nature, actually, and does so efficiently.
I'm not sure why, but this one had not occurred to me; yet apparently, I resonate with this belief.
Too many things on the list....I guess scarcity is moving up. Maybe connected to doubt. No yeah it is, ok cool. That is to say-THANK YEWW 🎉🎉 much appreciated (any enlightening message or missive is much appreciated)

While you keep referring to her as step MOM you will never be free from her...she wasn't a Mom to you...she doesn't deserve that title...Moms nurture and love and protect....she was your Dad's ex Wife ..nothing more...
🙏🏼I know this is for Aaron but thanks for sharing it. I’ve never thought of it this way with my mom’s husband. Such a subtle energetic trap/conditioning.
He is not affected by her anymore so it is easy to mention her as step mom as it was her role in his life, He uses this example as it is the only way for the 3D mind to understand what he is trying to say. It is just a word with no hard feelings behind it. He forgave her long time ago by healing himself and certainly grateful as this lesson led him to where he is at now. That’s the best way of healing.

I am german speaking thats why I can say that. No emotions in that Word. Which leads me to... its never the word when mabifesting. Its always and 100% the emotion!
My mom sold the house when my step dad died. She knew she couldn't live on her own. At the same time I had a health crisis where I couldn't work any more. I did not qualify for disability because of stupid decisions regarding insurance and self-employment. I had no way to pay rent, she had no one to help her. So she bought a great big house and my Husband and I and daughter live with her. I can't stand her she is a narsicist. If she wasn't alone in the world having pushed everyone away so that I was the last one left standing and don't want to see her completely alone, and I didn't need a roof over my head, I would probably only call her every few weeks and visit on her on holidays. If I was rich I would live somewhere else and hire people to keep her company. I do have a compulsion to make sure she is ok, but would do it with as little involvement as possible. She is the only one in my life like this. If I heal everything from childhood, how does that extracate me from her? I might be less triggered by her and have some more boundaries, but I wouldn't leave her on her own all alone. Not sure the next step. I know I could just have her sent to a seniors home since she is forgetful and can't cook or clean, but she just bought a house for us all, seems wrong. I'm pretty good at dumping people normally, but that's young people who can restart.

It's literally changing my life and the way I look at my mother (and myself and others) whom I could not forgive until now and hated her and looked down on her because of her toxicity. There IS light at the end of the tunnel, belive me! I did not belive it could ever, ever change in me but it does, so fast now, I can hardly belive it! Peace, much love and namaste!😊❤🙏

@@aurely4998 Thanks. I know eventually I will know what to do. A lot of having to grow and learn boundaries to deal. It is that although she is really hard to live with I still care about her and need to know she is ok. I just have to remember to take time I need to myself even if she is upset by it.

If not it's ok to take the easy way out...but at least realize you have options...and this is one of them..but its an option

I am SO SORRY that your parents divorced and you got stuck with a sh*tty stepmom. This may be hard to believe, but not all stepmoms are horrible. That being said, a divorce tears the whole family apart on so many levels. Your Dad did NOT stick up for you, and that is not fair. You did not deserve that. Not only is divorce not fair to kids, it’s devastating to their whole being. As I wrote to you before, people who decide to bring children into this world should NOT be allowed to remarry until the kids are at least 19, even 21.
