People crave this kind of connection. Theres nothing like it. Being the ... voice in a whole is insanely amazing. Losing yourself within that connection and body, esp when praising God is a gift ill carry in me forever. This... choir has that same essence. It transcends words
@@katiekring3087 what concert (or event) was this, as you say the audience was entierly made of profesional choir members? Genuinly wondering as he is doing this to most of his shows :)
Because music transcends words and harmonized music made by a bunch of strangers transcends the music that transcends words. It is an example of what can happen when we all lay our differences aside and take care of our fellow man. God created each of us unique and when those unique qualities are blended together in harmony, it is perfection. That is why you felt peace. God bless you sir.
His audience is quite special, Jacob is a great director and we will be always amazed by his music. I think the world is not ready to understand him, most of the world listen to crappy music. The gap is big. But we are glad to take parts at these concerts. Thank you Jacob.
It’s magnificent beyond words. I was at the kitchen sink, and at some point realized I had stopped moving, closed my eyes, and water was running running running everywhere. But I was transported … elsewhere. It was heavenly, in so many ways. I played for my week old chicks … amazing.❤
I could listen to this all day. I hate how people are using AI for this kind of stuff now😢 No technology can compare to the beauty of humans when they unite like this.
I found this video by sheer chance and how uplifting it has been! As a choral music lover, I thought I'd a thorough list of Choral "likes" but this is on another positive level. Very simple but oh so powerful! Superb !!!!!
This is the PRIME example of what one would think they would hear in Heaven when there is singing, praising the Lord. WOW!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!🥲🥲🥲🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
I was there at one of these shows. This a capella crowd conducting thing he did took over an hour, almost as long as the show. It got kind of old for me 😅
I don’t believe this is live audience, or maybe are all they experienced singers? How can be possible? Seems like playback or midi chorus played by musicians …
Just occurred to me he's an epic community choir conductor, he really rallies up tremendous motivation in his mostly pro musician audiences. He's a better conductor on stage than he is a musician overall.
All of the hairs on my body stood up and my face leaked.
I'll never forget being there in the audience for this. And so glad I got to sing the lowest part. :)
I wish, and I rarely wish, I had been in the audience, I had participated🙏
Oh lord!!!
I'm jealous of you!!!
It sounds like I'm happily ready to die
It's so beautiful 😍
@johnroberts3813 can you give us some details about the event?

You have beautifully described this magic
That's quite the gifted audience to just follow him without an inkling of what they were supposed to do. Very impressive
The audience was basically 100% professional choir directors, which certainly helped
Jacob does this at all his concerts.

its so diasppointing when i try to show people music like Jacob's and they barely listen and are like yeah its good, but they don't really 'get it'
being on that stage behind him was a true blessing 🫶🏽
