Hi there, yes, since you can still use it any time you want to unfreeze it and you still have your card account, the fee remains. Once you permanently block it and your card account is closed - that's when it's lifted

If you temporary freeze your card you can unfreeze it any time, if you permanently block it - you can't and you should order a new one :)
