The main difference is both sound and performance. You'll get the best performance gains with an off-road setup (especially if tuned), but it will also increase the exhaust note much more than a "high-flow" catted x-pipe.

Actually, the 305 hp was introduced when Ford redesigned their V6 engine from a 4.0 to the current 3.7 back in 2011.

Not at all... Our test vehicle had the stock mufflers installed with the headers/catted mid-pipe and it was very comfortable inside with the windows up. Different muffler/axle back kits will make it a bit louder, but I don't see it becoming obnoxious. As far as drone, no.. You can drive it all day at speed without it sounding too much different than stock.

Unfortunately no we do not... We've never produced any aftermarket drive shafts. You never know what we might build down the road, but I don't see anything happening any time soon.

enjoyed watching this more than i thought i would. even with the mods, still not as much powr or torq as a 05-10 GT! :)

Quick question, did the catted x pipe pull a code with the stock tune? I'm assuming it would with the o/r x pipe. I'm surprised this isn't mentioned as a disclaimer.

it shouldn't with a catted. Only with a o/r, but to get the most from the mods, tune it

Another question, are there any gains with the catted x pipe below 5600rpm? You only show the upper range, so I'm wondering if it actually loses power below 5600.

CA no - any other states that have adopted CA emissions NO - all depends on which state you live and the emissions laws in that state - they are all very different - you will need to check for compliance

I don't really get this? The GT isn't $1200 dollars more then the v6...
I have a tune, and this exact exhaust on mine and that's all it cost brand new from AM.

you really dont know cars do you ? i will help you out so uyou dont give us mustang people a bad name v6 $22,200 gt $30,750 thats $8550 more. now i hope you think you are a car guy ,if you think long tubes and a x pipe are over $8k ..let me help you $22,200 for the car $469 for long tubs and can get a x pipe for $124.99. now stay with me 22,200+469+125=22,794 now $30,750 -22,794= 7,956 so after this the v6 is still $7,956 less then a gt now are you going to get a new gt for $23k ? nope .
