So, this year has been a little more challenging for me because when the kids were at home last year learning remotely, many didn’t get the help they needed and now I’ve got several 2nd graders that cannot read. 🤦🏼♀️ I’ve had to do a lot of remediation with several of my students and that will continue all year. 😞
Same situation with my students in 2nd!

Welcome back. My year is going well so far. We just had parent teacher conferences and fall break.
Same here. More conferences next week as well.
Fall break sounds lovely! We started August 11th and we don't have our first long break until Thanksgiving and its suuuuch a long stretch! I hope conferences went well! 🤗

I love everything about 2nd grade but just got news that I’m going to be a combo 1/2 class. I’ll be having 15 2nd graders and 12 1st graders and I’m freaking out 😭

We used Eureka for math and Benchmark for ELA! I love Eureka and follow it pretty closely everyday but Benchmark isn't my favorite so I supplement a lot!
