Very nice, after all this time and success to see a veteran artist impressively moved by yet another but special recognition. I would've liked to hear more from both if possible. And please, let's not forget Siouxsie Sioux's influence on Robert. His time with her really changed his direction. I hesitate to say this but.....looking at Robert reminds me how old I am too. Time is an absurd joke. ☮️

Simon was rightfully upset that a lot of what he writes gets pushed to the side when Robert picks and chooses which tunes to pursue. So Robert has Simon at his side to emphasize that it's not all Robert, Simon is an important part of the writing process also. Well ok but turns out Simon is not comfortable speaking to the press in interviews, being an Introvert as he is.
In another interview he speaks and he seems fine. He's just not really the focus of these interviews and I think that while they are besties who've been through it all together, it is also partially about the brave face public appearance to show "Simon is definitely here, and happy, despite what happened before".
