I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAS NOT HAD MANY MORE VIEWS
Yep I just caught part of the BBC show Rise of the Nazis. I hadn't even heard Hans Litten's name until now and I thought I had learned about that issue in my childhood. The guy needs to be remembered for the stand he took.
Some thoughts here in 2024:
1. The last frames of this video: "It could happen here"
... it may well happen here in US., if Trump is in power again. 160 days to the election that may stoo American Democracy and ultimately change the world for the worse;
2. An American industrialist named Fred Koch built special oil refineries for Nazi Germany that fueled Hitler's war machine. Without Koch, they couldn't have Blitzkrieg'd Europe, invaded Russia. Everyone knew Hitler was planning invasions. Koch didn't care. It was money and industry power. He did even more for Stalin, and for Mussolini, too... Koch's son, Charles, heir to the Koch Industry empire and vast political Koch Network, has been quietly destroying American Democracy from within for decades. Democracy isn't good for his empire. He made Trump and MAGA possible. His family is one of the most evil, deadly, and destructive forces of the 20th and early 21st centuries. And few Americans know it. They can't even imagine what evil he has done to this country.
3. Per Frau Litton, a "Total Attack" by Russia on Europe's Ukraine deserves a "Total Response" by the Free World. It hasn't yet happen, which is very immoral and foolish; Trump will continue to take Russia's side. Europe seems to be waking up to the threat.
3. The UK is a very strong ally of Ukraine in the war. Americans who understand are grateful for it.
4. My grandfather was a German WW1 war hero, tremendous patriot and a beloved wealthy philanthropist. But he and my grandmother were sent to a concentration camp, because they were against the Nazis. They were deemed socialist enemies of the state. I have the Gestapo records on the family. Wild. My father escaped to England, joined the British Army, and fought the Nazis to liberate Germany from them. He settled after the war in US, and once warned me "it could happen here, too." I doubted it.

Please watch: This woman's son cross-examined Hitler, shaking the bastard but also creating an enemy -- when Shickelgruber somehow became leader of Germany, Hans was imprisoned, tortured and driven to suicide. He deserves to be remembered and known.
Well, the bastard shouldn't have upset Hitler then, he learned his lesson lol.
@@sj4632 more truth to your joke than it first looks -- no one knew how far hitler would manage to get politically and no one knew how far he would go once he got there. the mistake with hitler was to think he was a reasonable man, but once he became fuhrer, he started murdering all sorts of people including old comrades. Litten should have run in 1933 but easier said than done to even predict what would happen -in Germany and also Litten wanted to stay and fight. An honest and good man who has been gone almost 90 years now and never saw Hitler's own end.
This lady sure doesn't sound very German
