Invicta, amazingly enough did a great job in their execution of this. Not too big and gaudy, but just right, though I am not a big diver fan, they did a decent job, and the price and specs can't be beat!
I own the second production line of this watch from early 2002-2003 . It has a sapphire crystal not flame fusion crystal that Invicta currently uses . It also has screwed lug holes and solid end links . My 9937 watch of all the watches in my collection is one of the best I own as far as accuracy. It doesn’t lose or gain time . I’ve never have had it serviced and again have owned since 2002-2003 .
I love the pre maxi style case, and the sellita defo makes this a very good value proposition, but the engraving, seconds hand, polished mid links, and mineral crystal puts me off. For a few extra dollars you can get the Cronos (albeit with the maxi case) and you get so much more, glide lock clasp, sapphire, ceramic, capped hands, all brushed bracelet, awesome lume and either a NH35 or PT5000 caliber. I don't hate on the invicta, if they calmed tf down on the branding I'd probably give one a go
I have both versions, NH35 and SW200-1, enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoy wearing my Glycine Combat Subs that cost more than twice the price of this one.
Yeh have this one but I know this is an old stream but this watch is going higher for 229.99 at jomashop and still a good deal cause eventually will go higher as time passes by.
I have one of these along with a 8926OB. The bracelet on the 8926 is not as nice but the Seiko movement runs better than the Sellita on the examples I have. I think better lume would be a good improvement.
@@davidcrandall4958My Pro Diver with the Seiko NH35a movement runs better than the more expensive 9937OB with the Sellita SW200 movement. One would expect this to be the other way around.
@@thriftshop2609 probably could have the sw 200 regulated to be as good or better. I think the NH35 is a little more robust and probably has better keyless works. But the sweep is so much more satisfying on the sw200.
@@TheGearPeddlerI bought my 9937OB last August (2023), and except for its somewhat sub-par lume and smaller than optimal hour indices, I am very satisfied with it.
This is one helluva deal I must say, and I dislike Invicta strongly. This is a better deal than most AliExpress watches. Any San Martin with a pt500 is gunna be a couple hundred bucks and even more for a Sellita. Was expecting it to still have the same cheap bracelet but it even has solid everything and milled inner clasp. This would be a great candidate for a simple dial swap and maybe the hands. The Invicta logo just bother me.
They aren't bad watches if it wasn't for the stupid invicta on the side, crappy lume and no sapphire. I owned this watch yrs ago. Ended up grinding off invicta on the side , repolished, put a different dial on it and added sapphire then sold it to my buddy.
Invicta EU store has good service though. No complaints so far. I've bought some Invicta Pro Diver and Speedway plus a handful of Glycine Combat Sub over the last couple of years when they had em on special offer, and then use a 10% or 20% off coupon, most watches were a bargain. The coupons I had used to work like forever but aren't valid anymore now unfortunately because of inflation.

I have three pro Divers with the SW 200! Excellent Value for the price!

this is the pinnacle of the pro diver and of Invicta in my opinion! I would love to be able to buy this again.
I just received this watch from Jomashop yesterday. What a coincidence! Great watch and a great review.
I picked up my Invicta from jomashop as well - great pick! great review
I like my invicta pro diver for style and protection. I can tell time in style and knock anyone out

Honestly this watch is worth it just for the movement itself. everything else is free
I've seen worse watches for way more money. Pretty cool find. I've been able to find some cheap, fun watches by watching Joma.

Very good watch.Mine gives around +12 spd.
Wow....that's tempting !

Love Invicta. Large enough to see and amazing quality. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see this in a 47-50 mm.
I can't keep buying watches 🤦🏽♂️
Nice, but the branding on the side of the case is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise I would of purchased it as a beater.
There are other watch Brands that have worse marketing practices than invicta!
wait whats the difference between the $60 amazon automatic vs this one?
How much does a Sellita sw200 cost?
I have seen the ETA 2824-1, which the Sellita is a clone of, advertised for close to $200.00 one at a time. The Sellita can't be a crapload less .
@Mrs. Riki yup
Your disdain for this watch is duly noted.
Mine has a seiko movement
Nice 8th grade graduation gift
$229 now, it's cheaper on Bezos' store.
Is this still a good buy at $230?
I'd say so, yes

Unreal.
cheap Bezel insert fell right off!
Specs are fucking impressive ngl
Only deal breaker for me is that ugly bracelet
Some scotch bright fix that
@@jorgefajardo2213 That's what I did to my Pro Divers: used one of my gf's nail files that has 4 different grit, bracelets look awesome now!
If there are certain models in the line you don't like,Don't buy them, but service is terrible!

Does Invicta make a Sea Dweller?
